Actually I like the Order and Collect function inside the McD app.

What u mean no need unlock? Once you put passcode it already unlock ma. For security reasons unlocking is always needed, u cannot use apply pay on watch unless watch is unlocked.

For iphone if u no unlock and u double click side button it will ask for double click side button + face/touchid/passcode before can use.

For watch if u no passcode to unlock first, and u double tap side button it will keep asking for passcode. So always need authentication.

except that AW seems to ask for double click side button from time to time..it is not permanent authenticated, like just now i tried, if i double click side button on AW after a while it will ask u double click again like there is a timeout or something.

As a side note, I also tried the express travel mode it doesn’t work on either iphone or AW. It will still ask for double click side button. I’m pretty sure express mode only for supported terminals at public transport places that support it, unless someone managed to make it work i’d like to know how also.

Just paid in ikea cafe using Apple Watch, first double click on side button to open wallet, swipe to open my ikea family card bar code which is stored in the Wallet as well default card was my Maybank cc, then tap the screen once to change to my Maybank cc, payment done. Very convenient since both is in wallet/Apple Pay

If u added the card via the ikea family email, it shld also appears on AW.

But when it comes to new technology acceptance and usage, IOS users will use it as frequently as they can

I think that’s why retailers are under pressure with Apple Pay. 🤣

You don’t see that kind of hooha for Samsung Pay

Well, yeah use aw to pay but viewing transaction history is too small on aw so it would be nice to be able to see a combined list in the phone

If I recalled I think I did redo my apple pay on new iphone.
I think need reactivate.
