Nice to see Intel Core2Duo price drop.. Price competition benefits the customers.

Seems like E4300 is going to be a good candidate for OC. less than RM500, x9 multiplier, although half L2 cache.

with barcelona and R600 launching and intel cutting price, it's a good time for a new system.....maybe a week or 2 more.....

erm.. still waiting for amd barca.. and anyone heard of Q6400?? (2.13gig quad-core) still calculating for a new quad-core proc but i've heard from somewhere intel quad-core cannot play COD2.. sad.gif is it true???

If you can wait till August, you can get Quad much cheaper than current price icon_rolleyes.gif

You dont need to upgrade your mobo if your mobo can support Quad biggrin.gif

For those wanting to get Quad Core I advise to wait till August or later to get it. Upcoming improved models and better prices are coming soon. Also most newer ASUS motherboards now are already Quad Core ready.

Already placed my order for E6600 at RM610 in bulk order.

No. It is just a typo. rolleyes.gif

Robyncom are selling it at RM410 but in bulk section you can get it for RM380. thumbup.gif
