QUOTE(kurogane @ Apr 20 2007, 04:20 PM) Just came back from Low Yat myself. Thundermatch first to drop price i think. Already have 6320 and 6420 at RM605 and RM675. So tempted to buy on the spot lol. Hopefully price will drop even further by mid next month so I can use my holiday to build my C2D system . thanks for the update...saving some bullets cant wait till end of the month for salary lolz...E6420 certainly looks like a gd buy to me...

Don't know which processor to get now. Any recommendation?

Well if you are more of a enthusiast gamer defiantly get the E6600 seeing as the price is more affordable now. If you are a bit on budget then get E6420 because currently most higher end processors won't give you a boost on much of you gaming performance. I however still waiting to get my E6660.

too little difference in the pricing; since majority of buyers are into Pentium 4 / Pentium Ds, the intro of the sub RM500 Core 2 Duo E4000 series won't be good enough yet
Intel should match X2 pricing by offering C2D E4000 series from RM300 onwards
probably with the current X2 pricing and a 690G HDMI mobo or nForce 6100, X2 is still a lot lot cheaper

And now E6700's price is the price of E6600 before the price slash... So I'll get E6700 now xD
