and, oo yea, may i noe wuts everyone's fav MG models for the time being? =P, no offence but i just wanna noe though  biggrin.gif

A few questions to ask from the vids~

1)Why are they filling up the gaps in the middle of the hollow parts?
2)After drawing the lineart with the gundam marker, how is it possible to clean up the unwanted marks? Shouldnt the ink had dried up by then?
3) After sandpapering some parts, there WILL be marks right? Any way to get rid of them other than painting over it?

let me answer your questions (although i have not seen the video)

3) sanding can make the surface smooth also... depends on which grade of sand paper u use. marks WILL NOT appear that obviously if you are using a high grade (thus, finer) sand paper to sand it. if you are a perfectionist, you can apply putty over the sanded area and re-sand it again... apply mr surfacer on it and u got a nice, smooth surfacer to work on....
*
I saw the vid and noticed that mr surfacer is grey in color...
what if the parts is of a different color?

<<Total nub =.=

no worries, mr surfacer means no harm.... apply any color on grey or white mr surfacer.... the color will be vibrant also... no worries...

Mind explaining what mr surfacer does....?
I watched the vid and saw this fella spraying mr surfacer on a green+white body.
After spraying, the body's color is now whitish grey

as most of us know, edison aint getting his stocks intime to COD with us this week...
After waiting for a painful 1 week(for me), i have to wait for yet another 1 week... thus i'm reminded of south park where cartman traveled to the future to get himself the nintendo Wii...

Right now... I feel like traveling 1 week into the future =.=.....

That aside,
QUESTIONS~
1. Can a blade be used instead of a hobby knife? What's the difference between the usage of a blade and hobby knife? To me it's just the same...
2. How much did you buy those 'wire cutters'?
3. Do gunplas melt in the sun?
4. The etch stickers, do they come off easily? As in i rubbed it with a cloth/ rough cloth/ jeans?

I did mention that the hinu would be my first gunpla....
I never mentioned that i did assemble other models and other stuffs before/recently =p

Though those models didnt require much detail work like gunplas...
Eg. Model planes/tanks... though they didnt turn out well.....
wasnt serious with it last time... also, they require gluing <<main reason why it didnt turn out well...

Wanted to ask what kind of Plier do you guys use..
I found that those wire plier is quite weak..
The edges get dull after a MG...
Even my mom's Nail Plier is much stronger than them -.-"

Anyway, what I interested is the TAMIYA plier..
I've heard from my friend that it cuts plastic like Tofu..
The price is high too..But haven't seen any yet..
Anyone who know where to buy it please tell me..

Thanks.

I saw one at SunComic Cineleisure damansara jut a few days ago.
Note, ONE... and i didnt check the price =.=

How to know if you're addicted to Hi-Nu?
- You keep staring at this page every day, every hour til you actually own it..
http://www.dalong.net/review2/mg/m99/m99_i.htm

-You start carving wooden pencils to the shape of the Hinu and start lining it..
-You keep staring at edison's sales page waiting for updates on the hinu...
-You keep visiting edison's sales page and ask "Is it here yet?" every few hours
-You keep surfing everywhere on the internet for info about the Hinu
-You keep window shopping at shops elsewhere for the Hinu and stare at the price and tell yourself.. "Just wait a few more days..."
-You come up with a list of "Signs to watch out if you're addicted to the Hinu" (This list)

strike noir mg
Most have seen this already....
Just wanna give my POV.

The limbs are not as flexible as Hinu T_T
but the price is 4500 yen <3. Hopefully the price will be cheaper when Edison gets it biggrin.gif

Edit : I find it kinda wierd how bandai makes their models...
Some are flexible, some are not.
Cant they standardize everything?
