It's the same.
Only students and fresh grads care about the difference. a.k.a ICAEW is more prestigious, this and that, etc.
Employers don't give a damn.
ACCA vs ICAEW ? still got difference nowadays?, ICAEW still more "prestigious"?

QUOTE(jimmyktp @ Sep 27 2016, 01:58 AM) What happens outside Malaysia, I don't know.In Malaysia, employers don't give a damn whether u're ACCA, CPA Aust, ICAEW, etc. In Australia, employers give preference to holders of CPA Australia/ICAA due to national pride and have low regards on ACCA holders. QUOTE(stimix @ Sep 27 2016, 10:38 AM) Nothing to be ashamed wat...it will be interesting knowing a local U/colleges been given full accredition & ability to award their student after their degrees w/out having to sit the final papers. I think many have misunderstood the meaning of full exemptions.Well, long time ago & probably now, Tar college & Uitm are the only given the exemptions till the last stage of acc. It will be wonderfull that they are getting full exemption now. I'm proud to be ex- Tarcian...batch of late 80's Full exemptions means u can straight go to the final papers. There's no such thing as exemption from all papers. There are many accounting graduates out there are given full exemptions from ACCA. This post has been edited by Blofeld: Sep 27 2016, 02:08 PM |
