It's the same.

Only students and fresh grads care about the difference. a.k.a ICAEW is more prestigious, this and that, etc.

Employers don't give a damn.

What happens outside Malaysia, I don't know.

In Malaysia, employers don't give a damn whether u're ACCA, CPA Aust, ICAEW, etc.

In Australia, employers give preference to holders of CPA Australia/ICAA due to national pride and have low regards on ACCA holders.

Nothing to be ashamed wat...it will be interesting knowing a local U/colleges been given full accredition & ability to award their student after their degrees w/out having to sit the final papers.

Well, long time ago & probably now, Tar college & Uitm are the only given the exemptions till the last stage of acc. It will be wonderfull that  they are getting full exemption now.

I'm proud to be ex- Tarcian...batch of late 80's

I think many have misunderstood the meaning of full exemptions.

Full exemptions means u can straight go to the final papers.

There's no such thing as exemption from all papers. sweat.gif

There are many accounting graduates out there are given full exemptions from ACCA.
