Buy tourist SIM card.
Take bus/train/taxi to hotel.
Check in and left your luggage in the hotel.
Shopping. Eating. Massage.

hi noob here...need some advice

1. Buy tourist SIM card.
can buy at airport ?
any unlimited data SIM card and how much ? i am trying to compare with portable wifi from msia.
thai uber can only be used with tourist SIM card ?

2. Take bus/train/taxi to hotel.
if travelling in a group of 4 pax...no old ppl, which is the better and cheaper option...uber (XL i guess) or normal metered taxi ?
if 4 pax going to tourists places...which transportation mode is better and cheaper ?

2. Taxi/Uber, 4 people one taxi perfect to travel around, But airport to hotel you might need bigger taxi if you got many luggage

Yes. Even small road as soi, Uber able to reach your place. But during peak hours let say morning or evening, the road traffic will be very very Jam. So make sure u Don ffk Uber when they on the way to your place.
Fast is 8min, slow is 20mins. So u got to wait

If die die wan say which one is the best
AIS , coz expensive

i did some comparison between AIS and Truemove...seems like both THB 299 pack give the same data usage for 7 days, so they should be the same price ?

Yes!!! I always target these airlines throwing offer... Thai Airways or MAS... sometimes the fare is even cheaper than flying with AA...

Anyway, AA is crap la.. must add this add that... end price is not cheap also... i rather pay a bit more.. at least everything included and touch down in Suvarnabhumi Airport.. nearer to city
*
MAS timing not really nice...coming back to KLIA at 9pm...that means i have to stay overnight at hotel which will incur more cost to my trip before i fly back to sarawak

true but i wanna skip as much of the traffic as possible
so i use BTS
plus i go there with 1-2 ppl only
*
i guess best way to tackle this is to:
use BTS when traffic is peak jam
use Uber/Grab when traffic is not so jam
