I think that is the original one. And it is quite a distance from central Bangkok.

Anyone tried Khlong Saen Saep before? How was the experience? I heard it is another good way to check out Bangkok.

Mostly I only heard people raving about Chao Praya River Express Boat to experience BKK. But Khlong Saen Saep seems interesting though.
Yes I would like to save on drinks. Even in Malaysia, I rarely order other drinks apart from warm water. Plus I am not really into coke/cans drinks.

Yes, it is more than enough. Average per meal (meal+drink) would cost you around 80 baht to 200 baht. Depend on where you eat. Unless you eat at restaurant or hotel.
I think by flight they only allow powerbank less than 40000.

My experience of 5 days 4 night trip to Bangkok. I spend of around 15~18k. Include meals, transportation and entrance fees for tourist attractions.

Me and my wife ordered 5 different dishes for only 200 baht!

It was so good that we went back 3 times!

For me it's the best place to eat. Cheap, clean and delicious. Plus air cond!

AVOID DMK (I mean dong mueang airport) at all cost.
arrival immigratin just cannot cope with arriving flightSSSSS..ss.

easily squeeezzz for a 2hrs immigration clearance. no q line as toooo many PRC arriving who do not know what is Q.

on departure, lagi jilaka.. again PRC do not Q to scan luggage into check-in counters. lucky I took NOKair, if AA check-in counter, lagi worst, full of PRC

PRC landed but they're waiting for their visa
so i think the solution is timing
choose the flight that arrives before noon(or as early as possible)

but i agree they're like thousands of them waiting to pass immigration, so many groups

if u checking in from DMK, best is not to check in luggage and do your web check in before hand. The counter queue is crazy and when i arrived, i just terus masuk immigration..

Taxi meter rate in bkk can get from Google. 😊

For me,  I prefer airport taxi. The fare is pretty standard.  Yes they do charge a little more (surcharge) compared to outside taxi, but their dispatchers can speak English. They can direct their taxi driver where to go. Most taxi drivers there speak very little English. Even if show them the full hotel address also,  they may not able to read.

Before you book your taxi,  do ask if the fare includes toll or not.

If you get taxi from outside airport,  you may have to pay toll (expressway), maybe one or two tolls.
Do ask if they using meter or not (for taxi outside airport).

When you reach yr destination,  the taxi driver will ask for tips. If the fare amount has been agreed earlier,  no need to tip them ler.  Unless they are friendly and helping you with heavy luggage.

During my previous trip,  we paid 1300 baht to go from Suvarnabhumi airport to Soi 12 using airport limo van. 9 passengers with luggage.  Very comfortable.  Each seat has seat belt.

Now with Grab service,  we actually looked up for the fare before deciding to take taxi or grab car.  Very convenient.

Roughly can expect how much to pay. It's ok to pay a little extra but not double the actual fare.  Some taxis don't use meters. Skip them or bargain with them. 😅
