I have trouble choosing my dinner in Seoul reason is they all r the same for korean food... almost similar..... any must try restaurant  that serves good jap food or steaks?
google here n there also end up with korean food.... myeongdong street food is also so so only .... all fried n nothing special.... i.e; prawn tempura... m'sia also got lar..........

On business trip, quick question: marrriot courtyard hotelbetter or dcube Sheraton ? Anyone stayed these 2 hotels before can advise ?

saturday 10am arrive at Incheon airport, i didnt update the clock GMT+9.
first saw KEB Hana counter nearby bagage area, miss pretty quoted me RM1=246 for small amount, no choice lose a bit.
penang able get RM1=267. i was planned earlier but late to do

after i went upstair finding Airasia counter to get boarding pass for return flight. rupa2 upper floor still got a few currency counter operated by different banks.
i survey a bit @Shinhan RM1=239. worse than earlier so i give up. pls change KRW siap2.

ok continue my mission to find Airasia counter, walk a few row i realise the counters are follow alphabetic. so Airasia=A, last row!
i walk a few minute to get there, took a pic as reminder too.
this moment i looking at big screens then realise the clock need to adjust. im late again, need rush to yes24 live hall.

i was blur to reload t-money. luckily their part time staff (i guess) able speak basic english, so i took AREX transit then change to regular subway train.
go meet up with a few friends under sunny day, unlike hot msia. do some activities and skip x3 until 9pm concert finish, kthxbye to friends.

my night plan was shopping and sight seeing until morning flight. so i took train to Dongdaemun for Migliore, Doota, hello APM etc... which operate at wee hours.
just a quick run outside have street food, taste so-so compared to Msia food. haha our locals still win.

easily felt boring i get to next stop Myeongdong. unfortunately i took wrong direction, catching the correct train it stops 12am. damn im stuck at a random station.

I am going to Seoul in October and booked with Korean Air. I understand that we have to print our own boarding pass if we do web check-in. Unfortunately i don't have printer at home and it's too early if i do it at office on Friday since my flight is on Sunday midnight.

Can i just go ahead with the web check in and show them my e-ticket when i drop my luggage and get my boarding pass from there?

This is my first time taking Korean Air.

Hi, i will be going to Seoul this week and i was told to take a bus (6020) to Yeoksam station, where the hotel is walking distance within the business district. Are the signs written in English or Korean at the station? Also, since google offline maps don't work there, are there any recommended apps?

After reading many posts here, I still have some questions about money exchange. It seems like exchange rate in Korea is better than the rate in Malaysia.
1) They might not accept Malaysian Ringgit. How about Singapore dollar? Can I bring Singapore dollar and exchange in Korea? Is the rate better?
2) Many people here said exchange in Myeongdong get better rate. But I'm not going to Myeongdong in the first day. How about the exchange rate in Dongdaemun?
3) How do we check the rate for ATM withdrawal in Korea?

When comes to cooking, we are just thinking to cook ramyeon noodle for supper. Or have some hard boiled eggs in the morning. Make our own coffee or sandwich. Nothing fancy.

If I were to stay 2 weeks, then we will cook some days to save money to explore more places.

I have been looking at the weather forecast for next week. It seemed it's getting warmer again.
We are also going up to Mt Seoraksan for day trip.

I am having hard time deciding the type of jacket i want to bring. LOL

It is cheaper to buy winter jacket in Korea for common brands such as Uniqlo, Zara, H&M?

I'm going on mid December.

This is my 1st real winter, to coldest I've been is 5C ~ 15C.

I brought gloves, Uniqlo Heattech, but I'm not sure if I really need a thicker jacket. 

omg, this is scary. i will be in jeju next week. not sure how cold will be.
