There are a lot actually, maybe you can eat Korean fried chicken? The james cheese ribs? Jokbal(pork trotter)? raw marinated soy crab? gul bossam alley?

didn't try any jap food, coz if i wanted jap food i would have visited japan instead  tongue.gif

which is the best korean fried chicken? yeah, wat i mean like in m'sia if we wanted good jap food we can still go to places like ORIBE to eat. But in Korea.... hmmm..... thats a big issue.... wheres the best steak in seoul? thai food? Korean food is good for sharing not for solo eaters...

End of May it will be warm daytime, maybe mid to high 20's, cooler in the evening, probably need a light sweater.

There's plenty of variety of Korean food, you just have to be a bit adventurous. Plenty of Korean BBQ places and others - bulgogi, panjeon, dakgalbi, etc. The beef in BBQ places is usually pretty good, much better than Malaysia. The fried chicken places are much more like pubs - Koreans always have a beer with dakgalbi.

i am adventurous....was walking along myeong dong street to look for good food, saw lots of BBQ places and when i compare with a few places, they r preety much the same.... thats about it i.e beef, chicken, pork .... no other variety.... street food is just norm..... they just try to hype it up with some seafood with cheese, grille, fried stuff etc.... in malaysia we have tai chow, stim boat, malay food, mamak, jap, thai, steaks, etc. I actually have to turn to yelp and foursquare for recommendations....

Saw some korean fusion chinese food.... im like hmmm wth?! lol

Summer is not here yet. I currently work in Seoul. Weather is bit erratic these few weeks. Some days its chilly or rainy, low 10s to mid 10s. Some days its quite warm, up to 25. A light/medium jacket is probably a good idea. Shorts is probably ok if its not really windy that day.

Korean food may not have a a lot of variety (I kinda agree), but the quality makes a big difference. Like a good samgyeopsal place will taste a lot better than any other place and you can tell by how packed it is. Myeongdong street food is overpriced modern and clean street food for tourists, but it's ok to try if you haven't done it before.

If you really insist on wanting other non-korean stuff, you may be disappointed. The average non-korean food here is actually not that great for the price you are paying. The popular non-korean stuff is like American, Vietnamese, Japanese, Italian, and Mexican food. I don't really think you want to eat that kind of food in Korea. LOL. Google for the best korean restos to try in the area you are staying or going. Most of the time, they are pretty ok.

Thanks !
