QUOTE(Lynixx @ Apr 26 2017, 08:09 AM) Hi Guys, need some opinions here, just curios to know that are you the type of person that would - 1.occupied your trip schedule and no time to rest. 2.planned schedule but take it east and enjoy. im asking this because i have planned many many places but i scared i not manage to go all of them. it all boils down to your financial capability and the amount of leaves that you can take. when i was a student i had no money so i pretty much cramped a lot of sight seeing in one day. wake up 5 am and reach back hostel at 11pm-12am. if you have the money, meaning you know you will definitely return again, then you may not want to cramp your schedule. again up to your personal travel style.

QUOTE(westley0214 @ May 16 2017, 12:25 PM) Hahaha street food really that expensive in Korea huh? Then I will mix street food with some nice restaurant treats. Thanks for the suggestion, then I think I will add two more days to my original plan, go for 10D9N instead of 8D7N. Didn't expect Jeju Island is so big it's like our pasar malam food here lah. it may be cheap but the portion so small only. End up spending RM20-25 for pasar malam food.

QUOTE(westley0214 @ May 17 2017, 04:50 PM) Just got Air Asia flight tickets to Korea in October, will be spending 11 days there. Would like to ask about whether this plan is OK: Day 1 reach Seoul around 3pm. Stay for one night. Day 2 morning straight fly to Jeju from Gimpo, stay for 3 nights. Day 5 morning fly back to Seoul. Day 5 to Day 11 spend in Seoul. Because I worry if stay in Seoul first, when need to go to Jeju, need to carry heavy luggage (extra items from shopping trip in Seoul). While in Jeju I think won't shop much kot. Is the above plan reasonable? do you really need that much days in Seoul?

Don't think those Dongdaemun and Namdaemun wholesale shops accept credit card..may be wrong..but otherwise any place with an aircondition installed is very likely to accept CC

QUOTE(inachi @ Jun 29 2017, 01:01 AM) Walking u can always ask people..If u cant understand korean, u can always tell the name of the place in english, and ask the local to show it on naver for you. Well, if walking also need depend heavily on GPS, thats super spoon-fed lol eh i relied heavily on google maps during my last trip there leh although it doesn't work for driving but for walking it still works nicely

QUOTE(Duckies @ Aug 2 2017, 09:23 AM) KT Olleh macam need to pay 700+ MYR for deposit I am leaning towards Travel Recommends since it's the cheapest among the 3 choices. Can I get it in KLIA 2? I saw that they have a booth there but not sure they still have it or not now. can always whatsapp them. They set up a booth at the capsule hotel there.

QUOTE(darkhunter16 @ Oct 11 2017, 11:39 PM) I heard this as well but is it comfortable to stay on the AA for long flight? On top of that you have to pay for your check in baggage and meal. if you can sleep through the flight it is actually ok. flew to seoul twice on Air Asia X before.

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jun 19 2018, 05:03 PM) hey all, just want to warn you all about using the pocket wifi from travel recommends for your south korea trip. i rented 3 units and i really faced many issues in getting a connection. i have to factory reset it daily for few hours, and the connection doesn't last long before i am forced to factory reset it again. even their whatsapp support group can't help anything other than asking me to factory reset, and eventually their replies became slower and practically non existent. of course, other people might not face the same problem as me, but i rent 3 units and all 3 had issues, so it's up to you if you want to rent it. [attachmentid=9866941] [attachmentid=9866942] I used it 2 years ago no issue. Really unfortunate for you.

QUOTE(~mingwei~ @ Sep 5 2018, 10:59 PM) Hi, need opinion here, I got 7 full day in South Korea (Seoul and Busan) , will be arriving Incheon at 7.30am. Do you think it's a good idea to go straight to Busan 1st or Seoul? Im allocating 2 night in Busan the rest will be in Seoul. Will depart from Incheon to M'sia on the last day. BBSSSSS or SSBBSSS? have to look back at your itinerary. what day are you arriving? weekend or weekday? some attractions only open during weekend and you want to visit that place. have to consider that too. travel fatigue aside. but i would recommmend staying in seoul for the first day just to recharge. overnight flights can be pretty hectic.

QUOTE(~mingwei~ @ Sep 6 2018, 11:27 AM) Arriving Friday Morning 30th Nov, leaving 7th DEC Friday. What do you think? Spend the weekend in Seoul or Busan? Kinda agree with you about the overnight flight that might drain the energy. What I'm actually planning is even I arrive early in the morning at 7.30am, after immigration and all that let say getting out of airport at 9.00am, I still have so much idle time to wait until my Hotel check-in time Myeongdong Area at 3pm. Might as well use the spare time to shoot to Busan Seomyeom 1st. What do you think? 1st time to Korea, most of the itinerary will be major tourist spot. are you into nightlife? seoul will definitely be more happening on weekends compared to busan. u can always leave ur luggage at the hotel what even if you can't check in.

QUOTE(~mingwei~ @ Sep 6 2018, 12:00 PM) The nightlife do you mean the walking street and all the street food? Yes we do. We are not into club and booze. Then I will check out Seoul 1st. One more question is normally can we leave our big luggage in Seoul hotel for 3 days cos we don't want to bring so much thing to Busan. We will check back to the same hotel after the 3 days. Is that possible? can always check with your hotel and request for the arrangement
