we initially wanted to travel during the Sakura season but I don't want to struggle with tourists from China and locals during the Sakura season and the golden period. from my initial itinerary you need to double check what week will the Sakura bloom in specific regions. it would suck when you are too early or too late there.

Does the rental of the clothes, equipment and lift tickets separate? I calculated and I probably need slightly more than 10k yen for 1 person (Includes ticket, ski rental, wear rental) is this right?

Quick question....I'm getting the All Nikko Pass (4days). Does this pass includes ride on buses from Nikko Station to Lake Chuzenji? And how should I put the sequence...go to Kegon falls first or Lake Chuzenji? This two places is near to each other and walkable right?

just an observation. what your friends say can be true and can be not true depending on how much of a foodie you are, how much you enjoy sushi/sashimi, and what sort of exposure you've had with good sushi prior to your trip.

if your palate more 随便 (anything goes) then sure, most of the shops around tsukiji will be very good. but if you already used to eating at places like taka by sushi saito in st regis; then most of the shops in tsukiji will be disappointing.

after all the fish might come from the same market, but better sushi shops have better connections to procure the best fish. and also have better skill in seasoning and forming the shari, better ideas in flavouring the neta, etc.

Anyone tried ANA before? It's about RM 300 more than AA but RM 800 cheaper than MAS for my trip.
Depart to Narita but return from Haneda which isn't a problem for me. I notice the baggage limit is 23kg instead of 30kg.
Economy class with these meals am I right? If yes then it's very similar to what I had with MAS last year.
Comfort wise how does it compare with MAS A330? It has in flight entertainment as well? Am I missing anything?
