Hello guys, i will be in Japan for few months. One question about torrenting things in Japan, anyone tried it and are they really strict about it?

Just booked flights to Osaka arriving in Kansai at 940pm. Anyone else took this flight before? Would I have enough time to get to train? Some say might take 1 hr to get through customs and pick up bags and last train I checked (unless I am wrong) is around 1040.. would this be enough time or I should make secondary plans?

Great.. but would I need to change to another train to reach Osaka?

Anybody watch movie in sapporo / hakodate before...

My trip was planned for a rather leisure trip. A day of downtime every other day to relax and do laundry.
Tho I have to say those pastries look yummy! Will check couple of those for sure!
As for the mid-lower tier places, I just saw in the reviews and yt videos and looks interesting to me.
I just did a rough budget. 3k will only cover my meal and transport including shinkansen to kyoto. May bring extra 10k to be safe 

Don't plan to get a JR pass since doesn't seem worth it for my plan.

TBH no idea, this will be my first trip to JP

but based on http://www.airporttransfer.jp, for a Toyota Hi-Ace it's around JPY 22,000 to get to Osaka from the Airport. Bloody expensive if convert to MYR but not sure if it's more value to money than taking a taxi. I''m in a group of 10 peoples.

Got 5 kids and 2 senior citizen, afraid taking bus would be a bit of a hassle to them

But the reason I posted here is not really looking for troubles. All your comments are valuable. That's y I keep emphasize that my trip is focus on where I wish and wanna go only. The rest of the point of interest, leave it to next trip, Japan its not my once in a lifetime journey.

I will be going to Kyoto and Osaka for 5 days in May and will touch down at KIX.

I  am currently quite confused over the rail options. Since I am going to Kyoto first, should I buy the ICOCA+Haruka cards or should I buy the Japan Rail Pass?

If I buy the JR pass, have to buy Haruka also to go to Kyoto by train?

Hi im going to osaka, kyoto for 10 days. I did some research and was wondering if USJ is worth going. Anyone has experience on buying the ticket and what is your take on it.

And in Kyoto, I was wondering if any temple is worth going cause in Kyoto, it seems that theres a lot of temple and they said if you have been to one, it is sufficient cause it looks the same. I will go to Gion, kiyomizudera (eventhough they said they are renovating, im wondering if we can still visit around that area), fushimi inari, arashimaya, nara.

I felt that theres a lot more to do in osaka than kyoto. correct me if im wrong.

I will like your take on it if anyone has been there. this will be my first time heading there. Thanks.
