Anyone can identify?

It is a Soon Teck. From my uncle's 23 years experience of seeing alot of buddha amulets. From the photo , it might be a fake. First thing is that this monk who made this amulet , is for the king rama no.5 . Thailand year 2411. Which is Singapore year 1868. Now Thailand year is 2552. Which is Singapore 2009. Your buddha will be 141 years old now .
From the back wordings , my uncle read them already. Do you know , old amulets rarely have wordings written on the back of the amulet. May i know how much did u buy it for ?

*Add-on*
And if the amulet were really that old , the wordings should not be so clear to be able to read .

Really hope is that my uncle is see wrongly ... Don't get angry because of my uncle. Because , he is really very experienced at looking at buddha amulets.

can any1 tell me what amulet is this ? kind of old ad

This amulet is from Thailand , Ayutaya . It is over 1000 Years old.
If you want to ask who made it , u have to go and knock on the grave. laugh.gif rclxms.gif Because , it is nearly more then 10 generations. Your buddha amulet is likely to be real. As my uncle saw the photo and said ...
And he is experienced at it. Because , he has been seeing alot of buddha for the past 23 years.
And a advice from my uncle " You better take care of it and do not lost it. Becuse , it is very beautiful."

can anyone provide me some info on this amulet? thanks..

Your amulet is a Soon Teck. But , it is not from Wat lak kang.
Ur amulet abit wasted ... Should not let people put "kim moh"(hokkien) on ur buddha front.
Should not be a monk doing this. From what my uncle see , it is new.

i can only tell you the last piece of gold color amulet belong to the Butterfly King make by Kruba Kristana, its very good for "yan yun". rclxms.gif

You only know the last piece ? The first 2 you know ?
Do you know , Kruba Kristana make pandent. Where he make you know ?
Although he is still alive , But he only make butterfly pandent and is expansive in singapore. Cheap in Thailand.
He never make pandent of his face. Oh yea. He also make tanga. You only see the pandent signature and think that it is made by Kruba Kristana. Do you know , in the market , there are many other fake which are the same as that.
Because you "boh tio cheng"(hokkien) before. laugh.gif Just giving a comment.

Don't simply claim this is 1,000 years old, there is so many ways to con people nowadays to make an amulets look ancients. Seeing a lot of buddha amulets doesn't mean this real as claim by your uncle. Later if he sent to amulet shop to sell, those amulet shop owner chase him out for cheating, can you bear the responsibility if anything happen I guess you won't be willing to bear right.

Hopefully, you "bo tio ching" simply commenting based on your so call experience uncle view. O, just my own view only hope you don't mind I am sure.

This is so contumelious and cacology.  No i never "tio cheng" before like your uncle becos I don't intend to claim I am experience like your uncle, but that doesn't mean he is right also.  tongue.gif

Yayaya . You are very clever. Hope u don't kena "Cheng". Have you heard of this phrase ? Always a clever person always want to kena "Cheng". I hope you are the "Clever" person in this life. Because , you think you are very clever. But , actually you are the stupid one.

(Not from me) : " I have been seeing all kinds of buddha amulets and statues. Even first batch of Soon Teck wat lak kang but to me , is still nothing. Because , in this world i still want to see all the buddha. But , still cannot finish. Because , in Thailand , have over 10,000 monks make all kind of buddha. Over 100 Temple , you have to run. So you think you are clever ? Have u stay in thailand before ? Have you been a monk b4 ? Have you been to all the Temple b4 ? And have been staying in Thailand for more than 15 years. rclxub.gif

Thanks for sharing your hoonpayong, they look really nice and in mint condition. Hopefully, lead you a soon soon lili life.

normally those in amulet line will call it rent amulet or "buy" amulet same meaning, this is holy object so its not nice/disrepect to say buy or sell amulet, they use the word "rent'. This rent is not the same as those commercial word "rent" as in sewa. I can't tell you since when people start to use this word "rent'". Perhaps some expert in amulet line will be able to answer, as I m  still a newbie and learning everyday. Thats all i can share. Hope you understand what i mean.

Buy and rent is the same ? I think your english have a little problem. So , if you rent car , means you paying $120/day. But , if you say that you are buying a car , that would cost you up to $120,000. So , If you do not know the difference between rent and buy . Go back to school and learn more. I thought you are very expert And you say you are a newbie . I though you are a " Lao Jiao" . So , you are a newbird to my uncle ar ? I think you have to go to more Temples and learn more from the monks . Hopefully you look like a monk and act like a monk next time. whistling.gif
And Go back to Your pre school and ask all your teachers to teach you properly.
