i believe if we are really interested in collecting amulets, we must always be aware lor...better get some knowledge before getting the amulets...for example, sometime people will say this somdej is made by Ah Zhan Do about 100 years...but guys, Ah Zhan Do passed away more than 130 years already, do u think he can do it ? I believe every amulets collector must be able to investigate before getting any amulets lor. hai mai sin ?

Most of the amulets are bringing you good luck and help you can go smoothly in term of carier of whatsoever...of course, it can protect you from some danger incidents also...basically, Jatukarm generally can help you to change your luck from bad to good...but, usually it is not necessary to beg jatukarm to give u anything, he will give it to you naturally when he feels wanna give you...this is so far what i understand about jatukam...anyone wanna add in something...

Cool. I used to collect a lot of amulets mostly brought back from my thai friend.
I like to collect Luang Por Thuad especially those from Wat Chang hai and those from Luang Por Daeng(with a lot tangkai inside and with funny name like chek chek kam ma kam). I was so obsessed with it the old days and spent all my money and time in reading the magazine and recognize all the achan, their wat and their famous batch of amulet. But i almost forget all of them now except some very famous one. QUOTE(eg_9525 @ Jan 30 2007, 07:37 PM) ![]() This is Achan To from Wat Rakang. He made the most expensive amulet in the world ever i think. His somdej Wat Rakang is a bomb. ![]() I still remember this one Luang Por Ben who sits on tiger. There is another Luang Por who sit on 2 tiger and a snake but i forgot his name. I used to keep a picture of the same of your avatar last time. What you say is right, learning more before you buy any amulets. And dont believe in many of the so called experts tell you about this and that. I met too many uncle and even thai monk who told me they had more than 200 years old Luang Por Thuad and some even want to sell it to me. In fact the very first batch of Luang Por Thuad was made in 2497(1954) by Achan Tim(Wat Chang Hai, white elephant temple) with the help of Achan Nong from Wat Sai khao. Anyway no collector of local amulets? There are quite some well known one in Malaysia too and much more cheaper like Chao Kun Pao, Tok Raja and the butterworth LuangPor Win. QUOTE(V3i HoN6 @ Feb 2 2007, 04:38 PM) Cool. I used to collect a lot of amulets mostly brought back from my thai friend. Basically, i did collect quite a number of amulets and even the takrut (tangkai)also...If you talk about local amulets, i also got but just few only, most of it are tangkai lor. I got 1 tok raja amulets made by chao kun chan, then most of my tangkai are made by LP win. Sadly to say that i don't have Chao Kun Bao's amulet ler...i saw 1 buddha amulet which is made by chao kun pao but is really damn expensive la. anyway, since chao kun pao is LP win brother "si heng", then should be fine la...
