Just curious to know how do u usually get amulets from temple. I mean u visit temple, donate and the monk will give u?
I would also like to get amulet directly from temple but there's a chinese saying 可遇不可求 'get it by coincident (fate), not obtain by choice'.
Any good temple in Hatyai or Bangkok to donate and get amulet?

sometimes dont think too much la, just let it flow bro.
just go to temple and normally inside temple got the amulet shop (either own my temple itself or own by 3rd party)
just saw the amulet u like, buy it / or we call rent it then can give to the temple monk for re-blessing, normally is foc but u can make some donation la to help the temple.

normally donate then get the free amulet is just so so one,
kecuali u always go make donate, help the temple and the monk know u well so he will give u very special one or if u karma is good enough the monk will give to u the amulet that he wear for year for free.

Yeah, am curious too, well I won't mind barang if I don't have children but since I have 2 girls, my missus already warning not to rent barang.

Just to share, I travelled to SG quite often last time and I do notice that gumanthong is quite popular amongst southern neighbour..saw quite a few HDB unit with dolls and offerings at the front door, was wondering if anyone knowledgeable can share more

Kumanthong = kids.
So normally we will offering to them what kids like, sweet chocolate, vitagen, some even give then red sirap or or ribena or fanta, some will offer some kids clothes. All up to personal.
About food, more easy is u tell them, i makan apa lu follow me makan apa.
And since kumanthong is considered ghost kids, and kind of lower level, so we cannot put same lvl with Buddha, Deity or monk, must put slightly lower.
Hope this information will clear the mist out.
