The main point is to not drain the battery unnecessarily. Keeping it topped up is the best for it's health.

If 10% of the time nets you 205 cycles, you must be some real heavy user. I had a batt that died on my in as little as 300 odd cycles, but heavy usage on and off the charger.
I agree, the cycle count doesn't dictate how the battery wears. Apple gave that 1000 charge cycle statement just to give you an estimation of how long it could last and they could have done it in a certain manner to get to that count. It can't be used to determine how your battery will last.
