Well on the local side, a Nissan Xgear GPS is not that good. On foreign side, a McLaren MP12C GPS is also lousy i saw in a few videos. Well after update it was fixed. Some works, some don't. Some are lousy some are good. But handphones ones you have choice and not fixed by manufacturer. You can use (was Nokia MAPS), or paid versions of famous GPS apps. But cars..... hardly you have such options, unless they have options for it. Sometimes some GPS are not good in that country, but works in others. So many variables. So TS probably got a lemon unit. People who paid almost half a million for a car with GPS would probably not bat an eye on such things. Buy a new car or bash the car in front of dealership like China people do.
I have no idea what you are answering on about,
and I never knew Nissan (Xgear) is an 'expensive' 'continental' car.
video's and DD usage experience is totally different.
I was actually reluctant to use the in built GPS in the s400, coming from using in built GPS while in straya,
but am surprised it works well enough to not get me stuck on rails.
Other Conti's I have tested DD long enough in straya, volvo's xc90 16', v40 15', audi s7; GPS works well (have not get a chance to DD a BM)
their local's 'P1/2' car GPS sucks though, so might be similar to our P1/2, However in performance, Road noise/rattle and reliability, their's is way better
I'm just here to read about P2 issues, don't want to further comment on this ^^ , it's always interesting to read on P2 mybi's
But I do agree, TS got a lemon unit (with the amount of problems in 1 month 'I will not consider it a lemon if problems crop up in 1 year')
but ain't nothing could be done, even in straya lemon's arn't covered.
Probably use 6 month's and sell off is better off (new car's are supposed for peace of mind, 1 month like this, better get rid or later harder/more loss).
