I had a test drive just now. All i can say is... WOW. Apart from the loud engine noise during acceleration, i think this is a really good car at a very reasonable pricing (I'm talking about the Premium model - RM59.8K). Not too shabby at all.

Both sucks actually. Between VIOS and this, VIOS much refined and less noisy obviously. Both also slow to accelerate, but VIOS will win with better FC.

But of course, VIOS sucks when it comes to Safety features.

All my cars < RM100K. Conlanfirmed better than this junk (well, except maybe my old KIA).


You must have not own a better car.

And if not for the protection tax/import duties, you can get a better car for lot less.

do not forget, the city/vios u get oversea and local is totally different quality.
because they need to match the local price range to capture the market, they remove alot of part and change many part to lower quality to reduce the price.

I read somewhere persona booking now about 8,000 and according to my friend (hate to use this term) who work in proton, monthly sales output of persona is more than their expectation. I asked her why need to do OT, just produce your normal output enough and let buyer wait (I myself believe long que mean the product is highly seek), she said proton donwan buyer complaint long waiting period.

with persona doing good, I think proton sure donwan to kill the rhythm by introducing saga right now.

its quite rational for them to produce fast and don't let buyer wait too long.
imagine waiting few months for it, some buyers might change mind and cancel it.



atleast give us sneak peak/teases of saga, like prices, features, etc..

campro sounds good at 4000rpm - 6000rpm
L15A after 4000rpm rasa macam strained.....takde mood nak rev sampai redline
But below 2000rpm, L15A is almost inaudible, kalau campro agak boomy & ada sedikit vibration

I concur. My wife has 2010 persona and its a very good car. No rattling and only serviced and replaced the consumable parts since day 1. Engine also quite.

Still want to keep the car. A very good car. Handling is superb.
