That depends how you define good. For me this router is average but not enough to qualify as good.

Ya, I find my given Dlink 850L serving well too.
As TM is pairing with reputable router manufacturer, I don't see there is a must to change.
Oh ya, the router provided is more than your budget RM200.
Haha...

D-Link is reputable?

Haha, I am not supporting Dlink or any brand, just that undeniable D-Link is one of the big player in networking products.

Don't worry, there is no fiber optic routers, it is still a typical network router. (You can have this beast on Streamyx and it still works tongue.gif )

Installer just came at 11.30, already called me this morning to confirm on my schedule. He is doing the stuff now and it is quite challenging for this house as almost whole house is tiled. Luckily can use ceiling else I cannot install UniFi at all. doh.gif doh.gif

RM 170 only, I'm more than happy to pay. biggrin.gif
*
Mine too RM170
Above ceiling all the way to my room which is the middle of house.
The contractor say this is following the old price, he is right, on my service form, there is printed RM170 for non standard installation.

New price is based on metre. IMO, the length can be debating...

And yes, I am seeing 1 year contract too. New application.
