Dear all,

Just back from TM point.

I currently using VIp5 from Developer, Free for 2 years contract.
meaning now Developer pay for me every month.

I walk in to ask for the Upgrade to 30Mb, but it only applicable for New Customer For 179 package
Like us not entitle, if we wan 30MB, need to upgrade package to RUby : RM 209.

with no upgrade on hardware at all,

I complaint say this is unfair to existing users, she say this TM policy.

Can we report to SKMM?

New user getting new hardware with same package and cheaper price?

Not fair right?

Any comment?

What is the meaning under developer?
*
My new housing area, UM Land, Developer,

Developer give 2 years Free Unifi VIp5, when we purchase the house.

So meaning after we move in, applied unifi,
then developer will pay for us month bill until 2 yeas up.

Initially plan to wait for contract finish and switch to Maxis broadband,
30MBpS is 220.
20MBpS is 179.

but now is 179 for 30 MBpS is cheaper mah.

but not sure maxis speed and service ok or not.

go to unifi webapges and log into my account,

have teh upgrade button, more jialate
VIp10, 199
VIP 20 249.
they still dreaming

crazy package.

Mine is the same as yours.
laugh.gif True, I wanted to say that.
Yes, it's normal. I used to get more than 30Mbps too but capped to 28Mbps since few months ago. Cannot complain because 28Mbps is above 80% of TM's promised speed and 90% of MCMC's requirement.
It's Mbps not MBps. 1 Byte = 8 bits. Big difference wei.
Enjoy while you can. laugh.gif

See, this is within a 40 minute span. TM says, it's alright if its within 80 percent, 80 percent of 30Mbps is 24Mbps and all these are below that mark. It was fine until Friday night. I'm seriously thinking of jumping ship to Maxis Fibre if this keeps up, though they use TM's infrastructure so I doubt anything will change.  vmad.gif

I also have plan to change to Maxis which previously cheaper plan compare TM
10Mb and 20Mb

but 30Mb unifi now is cheaper than Maxis.

I have same concern as yours, same infrastructure, will it improved?
as the hardware cable is same

But i dun think TIME will not come to landed property

only few areas in JB, all at condominium

I think there's a bunch of people who have had their internet speeds cut, Im down anywhere between 14-28Mbps whereas another guy on Twitter has it in the same region of speed. My guess is that Unifi spilled some coffee on their servers and rather than fix the problem, they just let it slide.

\
drop message in their FB,

they replied me with reset port.

restart BTU, modem and router.

speed only back to normal.

4.5Mbps

hi
now using VIP5
if i upgrade to 30mb, will they give me new equipment?
especially the router & STB.

if not, then i will terminate this & register for new acct
*
i just been to TM centre,

they will not give you new equipment,
for upgrade they just do something at the port only.
no new hardware required.

contract will be renew in 2 years
damn them.

he suggest me terminate and apply new one to get new equipment

provided current contract is expired,

if not, penalty RM500.

I received SMS from TM for upgrade Unifi Advanced 30Mbps.
RM 179 per month, no free call,

ask me walk in to TM point

I double confirm, do i entitled the upgrade package, she told me yes.

Then i go TM point again, again i was once again rejected as under a different plan currently.

Lousy CS, waste my time.

Just upgrade to the 30Mbps package

Trying the speedtest.

Maximum is 22-25Mpbs
sometime even lower than 20.

using Wifi, is it normal or my stock router issue?

thanks

If you could constantly achieve 26Mbps and above on wired connection, definitely need to change to a router with better wifi performance
*
facebook message to TM,

they reply, 80% of minimum bandwidth, = 24Mbps
as long above 24 Mbps then it is nothing wrong.

look like i wanna look for another router
to replace the stock router
