QUOTE(brainocide @ Dec 9 2016, 05:01 AM) The fact, for those who subscribe unifi this month campaign, will get speed upgrade starting April 2017 as u can see in TM portal detail in Tnc & FaQ. For current customer/user will get free upgrade starting 1st Jan 2017 phase by phase but official statement from TM still not released yet. Many things not clear. Like rojak u know, all story, rumors, assumptions mix together then make a news/conclusion + TM side also sometimes make mistake in their statement, published then retract back. so...unifi package must be installed by 31st Dec 2016 to be eligible for free upgrade in 2017 ?Even call 100, go to TMpoint, even different person different answer, they also cannot give proper answer, they also will say no latest info yet. They also donno how to explain & no confident to explain. Or....as long as received the sms / email confirmation that will get free upgrade regardless when is the installation ? |

QUOTE(yorkhan @ Dec 9 2016, 10:57 AM) thats what im worried about. but since their website already say charges rm60, i feel better. thanks for confirmation. yeap...you're right, i read the news on 100000 people will get free upgrade. i seriously doubt i am one of the 100000 ppl...hence i registered for 30Mbps just to be safei called and they say no free upgrade, just wait announcement. my place also got no 8mbps, 4 is the max. they say too far from main exchange. then they say for streamyx only 100000 people will get free upgrade. |

i pluck this comment from lowyat:
Dreal Cyrus • 21 hours ago Hey Cyrus, you could ask TM to remove hypptv from your package. I've actually seen my friend's brothers bill & he said when he upgrade to RM179 pkg thru phone, he purposely ask not to have hypptv because doesn't watch TV at all. Now he's paying RM30 less. Not sure about phone call, but if you look at your monthly statement each services are itemized individually, so the possibility is there. Then again, I guess you can only do that when you are applying for a new contract. So it's possible to remove the useless hypttv package ? anyone here successfully done it ? |
