May I know where's this place?

I think the difference between the Oly f1.8 and PanaLeica f1.4 is minimal, right?

I feel PanaLeica can be bulky (especially with the huge irreversible lens hood), I like the size and weight for Oly f1.8.

Also, PanaLeica has the rattlesnake sound on Olympus bodies.

I am wondering if Oly lenses work better with Oly bodies. I am using Olympus OMD E-M10 mark ii.

I am considering to replace the PL25 f1.4 with O25 f1.8. I like the size and weight for Oly 25mm f1.8 but I haven't own one before. Is there advantages for PL25 f1.4 over O25 f1.8 for Oly bodies?

Should I keep the PL25 f1.4 or replace with O25 f1.8?

This Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM II is actually a new breed unlike its earlier siblings, this particular lens has some newest technology especially its NANO USM 1st introduced in a consumer grade lens not even found in the L series, very fast and silent AF. This lens costs me about RM1.5k bought in HK unlike its other siblings which cost 700-800rm only vs rm2-2.5k for this new lens in local stores. And it is very very sharp compared even to the L series 100-400 mk II.

On smaller crop sensor especially like our 2X m4/3 sensor the IQ is quite far compared to if this 70-300 II is mounted on a FF like the 5d or 6d, which this lens is designed for. Nevertheless it is still very very sharp to my eyes even at the long end of 300mm. Haven’t got a real chance to really test it out yet but I will.

Unfortunately it was raining this afternoon   I managed some shots with the Canon EF 50mm f1.8 STM on my GX8 via the Viltrox EF-M1:

AF speed through AFS is fast and accurate.
And I have also made a short video on the Image Sabilisation Tests of the Canon EF 70-300 IS II USM lens that I have done a couple days before. Awesome IS! The new NANO Image Stabilisation is just incredible, even at 300mm!!

So only way is add on another prime lens. hmm haha
