Dont underestimate china camera though. If they put their mind to it, they can manufactured good camera at really affordable price. Just check out their smartphones. And they can make good optics like mitakon.
Though, i would pass the Leica clone for now cause 1st gen tend to suck. Despite calling it the cheap Leica clone, the spec is rather meh and you find almost similar pricing and spec of m43 on older olympic or panasonic model.
they should put more effort into m43 mount drone, and cheap lens.

r u getting the 12-35 in aussie?
in malaysia, the new 12-35 lens taken out from camera bundle has been selling for around RM2k-2.2k

Yeah panorama is my saving grace haha.
The lowest I have seen 12-35mm here is $808 so that's around RM2.4k, looks like Malaysia still cheaper

$808 for retail box set? if yes then it's a bargain.
i am afraid later the PanaLeica 12-60mm f2.8-f4 pricing goes crazy then demand of 12-35mm will be increased.

When is the 12-60mm Leica coming out?
I was actually weighing up between the 12-35mm and 12-60mm f3.5, didn't know a better version of 12-60mm was coming out
