i am totally agree with others saying about the air brush job ... it just not suitable to do it on aluminum case ....

wasted the elegant design

herm, mayb everyone has different tastes. personally i like it alot. however it wud be nicer if fiery red to orange is sprayed on.

its the boy's first attemp to air-brush, give him a break

he invested around RM 1.2k of paints, machines, good brush tip just to get the job done, not mentioning the RM 1k + chasis

the protective lacquer was like 4-5layers done at car paint workshop, dont know how much it cost also ..

imo, design is so so ... but hey, watch out for our very own next air-brush job soon .. hope it doesnt get flame up .. heheh


meantime, this project is finishing soon but dont expect too much out of this one ....

here show a custom build reservoir. the res is designed for dual watercooling, which mean water is seperated, and we can have 2colors of water inside.

CNC + handmade. so not much of commercial standard. but its gonna work anyway ..

the res is made by the 17yr old airbrush boy again .. with some external help i guess.. no joke, cos his dad owns a workshop with expensive machines ..

the air brush job done very nice, only design maybe not for all ppl taste, maybe is because the smoke, personal comment is, maybe can spray whole case in Yellow color.

running leak test now as this picture is being posted ..

and oh ... those tubing has been reused many a times ... so yellowish ..

dont know much abt wc, but the mods here so far has been v interesting and really top notch, u mean to say that the res was actually done frm scracth by the 17 yr old? really cool design n good attention to detail.

Aiyoyo. U shud haf told him to clean up the hoses 1st. Not nice lar, everything so 1337 then teh hoses all dirty. Like a pretty chic with bad teeth. Smile oni the guys pengsan. The reservoir is really nice. I wish I had access to CNC machines. The local shops in PJ charge an arm n leg n then another arm n leg for custom parts.

No lar. Gary already stated that the hoses r indeed yellow n dirty from previous use.

aiyo .. the clearflex are about RM 10 per feet leh. so can't afford to cut new just for leak test mah.

so re-use old ones ... lol


and yea, custom stuff very costly

that reservoir u guys see is actually milled out from a big piece of acrylic block. so there's no joint parts, except the top panel with the custom cut rubber seal that act like gasket seal.

all in all, this acrylic res is only 2 parts... thus guarantee NO leak, other then the threading area for the 4barbs.

Ya I got what u meant when u sed CnC reservoir. That's just super nice man. Total reliability coz no glue joints. With that CnC machine can do so many wonderful things man. Custom water blocks, metal parts for teh case.

CnC machine of course nice, but the cost of that machine also like hell.

walaweh...such a nice reservoir...very big setup..how could a boy do it..huhu..

very rich boy... spend money more than 2k for case only... if me, better spend for the hardware

update of project.

running a 2nd leak test now for half a day. when all is fine, tmr will move on to fixing up the rest of hardwares & cable management.

nice reservoir, but not match with the case color, so i think better cover it with the original 5.25" drive cover.

Yup don't really match with the airbrushing...and the colour looks abit deep because of the thick reservoir wall
