Some pictures b4 revamp to dual cooling to wet ur appetite first.

on the way to completing the project now. Will update again when all is completed.

** Customized 5.25" water reservoir for the seperate water-cooling solution.

Pictures below show our past job with normal "single" watercooling. Done up somewhere early December last yr.

The chasis is air-brushed by the owner himself. Fierce & very well done. Our job is to implement the dual water cooling inside.

Wait more pics when we finish this next challenge. !! we'll show u more including the beautiful sidepanel as well

meantime .. on with the show !

when come to dare to do or not, age doesnt matter.

everybody can mod a pc. cutting a simple hole is considered as well right ?

rig should be done up by this weekend cos got to hand over then.

k guys ..

its the boy's first attemp to air-brush, give him a break smile.gif

he invested around RM 1.2k of paints, machines, good brush tip just to get the job done, not mentioning the RM 1k + chasis

the protective lacquer was like 4-5layers done at car paint workshop, dont know how much it cost also ..

imo, design is so so ... but hey, watch out for our very own next air-brush job soon .. hope it doesnt get flame up .. heheh biggrin.gif

meantime, this project is finishing soon but dont expect too much out of this one ....

here show a custom build reservoir. the res is designed for dual watercooling, which mean water is seperated, and we can have 2colors of water inside.

CNC + handmade. so not much of commercial standard. but its gonna work anyway ..

stay tuned for the finale !

the res is made by the 17yr old airbrush boy again .. with some external help i guess.. no joke, cos his dad owns a workshop with expensive machines ..

aiyo .. the clearflex are about RM 10 per feet leh. so can't afford to cut new just for leak test mah.

so re-use old ones ... lol

and yea, custom stuff very costly sad.gif

that reservoir u guys see is actually milled out from a big piece of acrylic block. so there's no joint parts, except the top panel with the custom cut rubber seal that act like gasket seal.

all in all, this acrylic res is only 2 parts... thus guarantee NO leak, other then the threading area for the 4barbs.

hello all,

i've just updated first page with the completed project.

not really outstanding i feel, due to the smaller size barbs we have to use. Limited by the GPU water block, scalability. Can't take too big barbs, otherwise, we would've use all 1/2" instead. sad.gif

Another dissappointing one is, the owner collected the rig but didn't bring down his sidepanel for us to take a proper picture under UV lighting too. Can't wait anymore as i'm sure alot are waiting for the final pictures, thus i'm posting them up first, till the owner give me a complete pictures of his chasis with sidepanel & nite shot biggrin.gif

thanks to everyone following up this thread. hope its a good reference for all start-ups. including myself, every rig is different.
