Honestly with roads like ours I think the spring and damper got much bigger effect on ride and handling than the suspension design. Multi link or torsion beam hit a pothole mid-corner still sakit. Also imho the front suspension affects the ride and handling much more than rear, which is why reputable companies still use torsion beam at the back.
