What do you mean do the CVT service?

The CVT service is exactly like in post #2, replace 4 bottles (litres) of cvt oil and the cvt filter.

Have you replaced any major parts recently at the Proton SC?

Better get that checked at SC.

Last time I've experience something similar was due to defective timing belt.

Not sure what problem your car is having

It would around rm600 ish for everything related at Proton SC.

It is recommended to replace timing belt every 100k km or 5 years,whichever comes first.

If your car is a manual maybe your clutch pad is due for replacement...clutch pad "finished", just like brake pad..
If your car is a CVT, something not good, brace yourself for something not small....
From my experience for aftermarket parts, i prefer TRW over Mintye...lol

btw i suggest you to visit proton sc to check.
fyi most owners will change to outside workshop rather than sending to sc. so i would suggest to go to 'bawah pokok' shop to check. at least if you can give us your house / office location, maybe we can suggest you a reliable workshop for you to check.

i am very sorry to hear that because of your problems, you now feel that your car @ proton sv is not a good car. actually proton saga since blm is a very good car, just that because it is a proton.

if you want, i can suggest to you my favourite workshop around keramat au3. (also go branch in pandan indah, seri kembangan, wangsa maju) i call it my private car clinic. from normal service to aircond service to tyre service. all have  previously i can some recommended workshop that our friends here suggested, but this 'car clinic is my all time favourite.

if you are around shah alam/bangi area, the best bet i can give you is to visit zordaq motorsport.

actually if you read from previous threads, cvt version of flx is ok. the problem is the the effectiveness of the SC you are visiting. too bad, not many SC are good at repairs. you can rely on normal services, but when talking about repairs, not many.

iinm, one way to solve the jerking issue is by updating firmware.

and also, driving a wet clutch cvt like flx cvt is different from driving a torque converter cvt or a 4AT GB car

for penang area, you have to look-up for penang drivers in here to help you find a reliable proton sc or bawah pokok shop.

My car (FLX 1.6 SE) make creaking sound when turning left, especially during climbing a slope. I have changed the driveshaft and tie rod end both sides, but the sound persist.

Steering wheel was vibrating too during slow acceleration. Alignment has been done. Frequently the tire toe badly each time send for alignment.

What could be the culprit?

Yup, that is expensive alright. I can find a workshop that charges 350 for timing belt AND labour. Do it outside, if you want it cheaper.
