oem parts like gates on par with proton ori. no say proton is better.

unless u are the type of owner who want only proton ori parts in their car.

if proton ori parts still cheaper do outside.sc labour expensive.

how is you guys saga fuel consumption? mine full tank 250+km only, saga flx 1.3 cvt.

sell to used car dealer = price low but everyhing will be done by them.
sell directly = price higher but everythink have to be done by yourself (change ownership etc)

search motor trader around 28k price. but that is used-car dealer market price already.

maybe can try luck around 16k at mudah?

its keeps on jerking when i throttle pass 2k RPM, and the gearbox indicator would show up at my dashboard, it has this squeaking gear sound too when i drive a little faster.

the rm10k price is the price you sell or the used car buy, not market price. know the difference.

the price in the motor trade is market price.

if you sell rm18k direct buyer also no one wil buy from you.

What do you expect?, The original price of the car was between rm34k to rm37k.

yalor time when want to buy car want cheap price. say proton is ok, then time want to sell, complain resell value low.

imo, there is sonething bezze also cannot beat saga, like aircond and proton ride and handling.

and personally, i see perodua also not superior nowadays.

btw, fyi had made my 2011 proton saga fl car even better and cooler from my perspective, so i am very proud with my proton.

new headlamps, changed rear bumper with paint, LED rear number plate, LED T10 parking light, LED cabin light, UR FSB, UR RSB, full soundproofing, new yoko es32, repaired aircond, new tint.
others are normal brake pads with stock factory, stock 13" steel rims,

had change different brand of engine oils,  1-2 brand of gearbox oil (now stick with my fav), tyre brands.

Bear in mind when new, Viva Elite was RM45k, almost 10k more expensive than the equivalent Saga SV.

This i have to agree with you, if you want it to be silent like new, changed whatever needed, IAFM got sound, change, tensioner bearing got sound, change, CPV got sound, change, engine mountings kaput, change... dont wait, else the car sound like lorry ad.. you will get fed up with it....
Viva to be honest the moment i close the door my ex-coll viva sx 1000, i pantang viva d although its engine is quieter...lol....
Saga FLX do have its down side, fuel economy, less zoom zoom drive, NVH, ciplak major rubber parts, ciplak IAFM, back seat cannot flip down, no isofix, the brake heat up fast with full load going down Genting, interior plastic less solid, etc etc____________fill in the blanks yourself
The things that good is cheaper price, with bigger boot, better handlings, flx exec & 1.6se come with ABS brake

For those aging Saga and owner still wanna keep it, to cheer up the ride, i would recommend them to do basic soundproof on 4-doors (DIY also can, cost less than rm100), new tinted, check your car IAFM, Engine bay 4-points mounting and tensioner bearing. This make the ride still consider enjoyable (not so sad...lol....)
yeah, H7 12V 55W for both high and low beam, i currently use Bosch normal bulb, cost me RM15-20 at spare part shop per piece

yup, Viva has less small issue here there.
like i said rubber stuff for Saga like engine mountings and bushes aint lasting.

Anyway,  the good thing is u get a "big" car with boot at 10k less compare Viva Elite full spec i presume.
throw a few hard corners at Saga it still can handle well for a cheap car
In the event of accident, there is more crumble zone for a Saga which basically made it so much heavier..
To compare with Bezza, Bezza is lighter by around 120kg, which to make up car dimension and chassis rigidity for Saga

Perodua cars good at fuel economy, light-weightness which contribute to zoom zoom city acceleration, better build quality (less minor fix&repair) and high RV.. 

You should had ur mind-prepared that Proton car RV aint good when you signed and paid to purchase ur Saga 6 years back which is a fact for years.....

Hahahaha.... How i wish the fuel tank is bigger too.... keep refuelling like Proton want to remind us the car is not so fuel efficient.. haha..
