My saga now reaching 60k km. How much RM need to spend on servicingt car?

What i know is need to do service on cvt (cvt oil, FEAD belt etc) and it will cost boom...

Need to estimate service cost with my pocket money.

Instead closing the bonnet gently, close it hard, smack it down.

Do this few times and it will solve ur problem.

Bring it to SC. They will diagnose the problem

Update of my car after 75k mileage

- car shaking like cement mixer. Suspect mounting kaput. Change already total cost of rm680
- bonet panel (one that above number plate) bracket broken. Panel went off each time close bonnet. Change already total cost of rm60 without paint

Which engine mount? All of it. Now good as new.

Broken bonnet support panel? This is common for our saga. After for long period of time own it, it felt in a sudden. Either leave it temporary or change. But leave it like that looks horrible from the back ;p

Daisy with 2 dash vent failed? Are u talk about its aircond right? Very low in flow? That means there's some clogs blocking the air flow. Its filter is at the back of the glove box. Remove glove box, take out the filter, wash and rinse, let it dry, put it back. Then u put 1st speed u chill within minute. No worries on the filter. Its net made from plastic (like mosquito net). Glad proton this this way rather than use paper filter which need to pay to replace it on certain time. If cannot diy, can ask sc people do it for you. Foc

Not quite good enuff setup? Depend on what people think. Different make model different setup. Flx setup ok for me. Dunno how other p think.

You can try search item in lazada. Fm transmitter for car. Quite old tech since nokia symbian era. Nowaday it comes with bluetooth, using plug on dc socket

Mine reach 80k km ++. Then as espected, things happened.

- knocking sound on left front side when moving on uneven road (jalan berkurap). Suspect undercariage but mech say front side fender like loose a bit. Anyone have this kinda problem?

- car once breakdown. Gear check light appear & gear not response. After 3 hours figure out, then came out solution. Third brake light burned. Replace with new one then good to go....sighhh...i know for safety but dont design like this. Any brake related goes back to gear...

- then breakdown again. This time tyre burst. put spare tyre and go to nearest tyre shop. More worst, my rims bend pretty bad. No choice, buy new sport rim (vorsteiner) with 185/55. I see my stock 195/55 look a bit flatter than 185/55 which looks better. If change all 185/55, any effect?

- when aircon compressor kick in, there is rattle noise comin. I suspect bearing. Had ask mech for it and it cost rm380

- my flx fc now looks bad. Anyway to reduce it? I dun want answer change car liao . Change car means new debt. Hehehe

athrunzaru remember i post i had knocking sound on left side of my car? U r right. Its absorber. Kaput. Now change to kyb gas together with absorber link. Rm700 terbang

Satu batang rm220. 2 for rm440

Absorber link its like a rubber cushion. Satu bini rm95. 2 of course rm190

Plus labor charge

Dunno is that rubber cushion or absorber link. Sry. Still noob on car parts. Not white, like a bit yellowish.

Now no more gek gek sound. Ride smooth. But feel stiff a bit due to gas shock. Dunno the stock one is gas or oil. Wifu dribe also. She say feel ok and more syiok.

Now i realize after change absorber & tyre. my saga now tall

With different tyre profile (front 195/50 back 185/55) it seems odd. There's once ex owner flx say if using 55 for all 4 wheel, it matched with gps speed.

So im planning to change :
- front tyre use 185/55
- change rear absorber, also kyb gas
- change bearing aircond. Ada bunyi. Priority
-skim brake disc & tukar brek pad. Also priority
-lastly, tein s-tech

Later

There is option

- change better brakepad like brembo. Cost high

- change better disc brake. Also cost high

- add rear disc brake. This one super high

- or check ur brake if disc brake tak rata (like my case). If does, have it scheme then change stock brake pad
