Guys,

Previously my stock rim (15 inch flx se) got dented. Now already change to new one. Same 15 inch with stock tyre (195/50) But it looks a bit flattened.

- change to smaller width (thinking 175/55) OR
- let it stock?

I forgot wat jj this new vorsteiner rim sad.gif

The workshop's price is bit on the high side, the part itself is around RM120 becaise the FLX has a big bearing hub at the rear.
I'd say keep it stock, the engineers know how the car's supposed to be driven on what tyres. Anyway, that 175/55/15 is an odd size, you might have difficulties finding it. Or... you could downsize to 14 inch tyres  biggrin.gif

1.6 mana boleh downsize wheel. Tadak cantik. Hahaha 😝

Also me eyeing 185/55. Later me survey 😊

according to tyre size calculator, can change to
185/55/15 and also 175/55/15

185/55 = 195/55 = 23" diameter tyre
175/55 = 195/50 = 22" diameter tyre
btw, LemonKnight said, need to consider the availability of the tyre size, later if tyre rosaked, then sayonara dude.

Ok thank you unker the penghulu kampung 😝

1. service gearbox only change cvt fluid and cvt filter. first timer?
2. ask workshop.
3. FEAD belt is alternator/aircond / fan belt. same say it's the outer belt because timing belt is not visible in sight. only change when got sound or got crack when inspect it.

p/s: video just want to show you where the belt located.
*
1. Sudah pernah buat long long time ago. Sudah lupa liao
2. Confirm price up punya kan?
3. Oh i tot cvt belting

hi, anyone tried upping size from 195/50/15 to 195/55/15? experience tyre rubbing issue?
195/50/15 quite a bit harder to find tyres.
*
One of ex owner has used 195/55. He say ok and speed accurate too

Rubbing issue will occur if you lowered your ride

Hi

Who has change cvt gear oil? How much the cost oil + its filter?

There's once i visit workshop to make regular engine oil replacement. That pomen told me for cvt gear oil, just change its oil. Filter no need unless cvt gearbox overhaul. I confused

Planning to change to Liquimoly MoS2 oil next service to try out what's the difference.

Can anyone suggest to me what weight oil should I take? 10W-30 or 10W-40 better? Inclined to go with 10W-30 but not sure if it's suitable for our gaga (1.6 FLX SE)
*
Try 15w50 fullsync. Mine use hirev is smoother than before 10w30 synthium

changed my cvt filter twice. cvt fluid wise, my first change was 60k interval done at SC including the cvt filter, after that 30-40k km interval cvt fluids change.

some foreman will say like that, they treat cvt gb like conventional AT.
somemore replacing the filter is not as easy as changing the fluid.
Some they dont even know how to bleed excess fluid out after refill fresh fluid, only say no need.
*
True. Unlike oil filter, cvt filter looks like a oil sump tray. Mech must lever it out. Then to put the new one, must put in gasket to stick it back. Tough work

I am using Saga FL(1.3 AT)
Changed to aftermarket air filter now thinking to change the exhaust.
I had read the various posts in the forum and still can't decide which type of exhaust I want or where to do.
Now thinking want to use 4-1,4-2-1 or 4-2-2
Then also thinking to change the entire exhaust system, but don't want loud one, best can be as silent as possible but can have performance improvement.
First time posting,so maybe a bit incomplete information.
*
- air filter you make it open pod or drop in? For auto, some auto mag recommended drop in
- 4-1 is standard. 4-2-1 is a yea from me. 4-2-2 not recomended. Less exhaust compression make your car lwss power. Somemore, a lot of modification if you do it. 4-2-2 require 2 muffler and 2 piping. That is extra cost
- also exhaust piping diameter must be larger than stock. How much the size i can't remembered. Can ask kedai exhaust
- don't want loud? Use S-type muffler. Don't put straight muffler. If not myvi will cucuk your back

Too many possibilty.  laugh.gif
Kluk sound could be lower arm big bush, outer/inner tie rod, top mount.
Best check every component of your front suspension.

Found the problem. Steering rack kaput

Buy new one with bushing, steering oil & workmanship rm800
