notice my 3rd rear brake light bulb burn quite frequent..
macam replacing the bulb every few months..

wonder whats the issue?
*
You are using which brand?

Last bulb i used is a Philips, last me around 1y+-, cost me around RM3+-

Then just grab a generic bulb from a spare part shop, S.T. brand, 3mth+ still ok, cost: RM1

Hi,
I'm curious...wondering...suspecting... something goes wrong with my cigarette lighter socket power supply!

I did post about the unstable charging via the 2.4A Charger on the socket, sometimes even Battery Draining while Charging... And last week, my charger was out of function, now grab a new one. The problem exactly the same!

Do anyone know how to ensure/check my Power Supply from the 12V cigarette lighter socket is Normal/Healthy?

So much appreciate!

Q1: WHich brand car charger you using now?

My car might have a problem. CVT warning light came out. Yes bulb is burnt. But! Seems like when I put my car into D it doesn't move like it does anymore! I had to step on accelerator and it takes effort to move. Have to wait 1 more day for SC to open. But I need to drive the car..

Update: After overnight, it's back to normal and warning light doesn't come out.
*
If the bulb burnt yes your car won't move from standstill without stepping on the accelerator...
Just change the bulb....Cost you rm1 for generic brand..N safer on road

You're right, it doesn't. Which is why I'm still looking around for other options.
Thanks for your suggestion! I'll keep looking around. Don't want to rush into a purchase and regret shortly after.

IF YOU ARE GENTLE DRIVER, FLX1.3 EXEC IS GOOD ENOUGH TO GET FROM POINT A TO B.

IF YOU ARE ADRENALINE TYPE DRIVER, FLX1.6SE IS BETTER OPTION WITH LEATHER SEAT UNLESS MANUAL IS A MUST FOR YOU... tongue.gif

FLX1.6SE RIDE IS ROUGHER DUE TO LOWER TYRE PROFILE

hi everyone, i am driving a saga flx 2012 with 15" wheels

need a tyre change because thread run out and grip worsen this year

which of these 15" size from lazada can fit without hitting sidewall on turning all the way to left or right?  prefer thicker tyre 55 or above for comfort/dampening.

can i use 60 and above thickness?

[attachmentid=8487932]

many thanks
*
NO IDEA FROM ME..

MAYBE 55 IS MAX WITHOUT SPACER AND DEPENDS ON RIM OFFSET AS WELL

IMMA USING 185/65R14 ON STOCK RIM FOR COMFORT PURPOSE

TRAVELLING WITH ~200KPA AIR PRESSURE IS SWEETEST SPOT, JUST HARD CORNERING MAY FEEL SOFT

Change windscreen better pay by cash or use insurance?

How insurance works? I never claim before
*
Did you add-in car windscreen breakage cover when u renew/buy ur car insurance?

If yes, how much your windscreen is covered?

If enough to cover, just claim it at panel workshop of your car insurance

hi,

I facing problem now on my FLX...krek krek sound when driving especially at low speed during traffic jam...the sound come from the engine area of the left side...I suspect engine mounting..anyone facing this similar problem?

When stop, rev the engine until 3000rpm but no krek krek sound be heard.
*
When my engine mounting kaput, there is no sound, just a bunch of vibration.

Your engine left side means passenger side right? not driver side..

Replace the relay inside the fuse box at engine bay, under those fuses..

Generic relay cost rm10±, take those with rating 35/40A

Check your fuse and if that's OK then life gets hard, often gremlins are from bad grounding to the frame but good luck tracking the wiring.
I've just checked my FLX for the fuse to the number plate lamp, which also does the tail light so I suppose if the tail lights are working then you can scratch the fuse as being an issue. I've arrowed it in this picture, oddly it's labelled RH but it does the rear of the car, the one above it is labelled LH but does the front parkers.

Thank you very much

I'll check it out later, need to take a multimeter to test out the fuse..

it has been a long time i look under the hood properly as my ngv indicator was not functioning. it should have the led light up everytime i switch on the car engine but not for yesterday. so i tried to check if the fuse is burnt and saw one of the grounding cable's point wasnt attached with its cable (left only the cable terminal). the cable broke and i dunno if it touched any place in the engine. but then its a negative terminal so i assume it wont hurt any much. putar putar and took the other end out from the battery side. the cable is dried up after serving me for 3 years, i assume.

esok mau pergi check if my ngv system kena sot due to this incident or not. il as well take down my second grounding cable too tmrw. the cables did a good job all these while. i blame no one but my own mislook over this incident.

Okay... Tracked, might be this the culprit...!

Pull out the socket boot light went off, another cable should be the boot door switch..

Some how I don't understand how it happen and why it happen...😵

Someone cut it? Vibration? Or I blast the speaker too much till it snapped....
