Plain stupid to haf 2 DVI? Then how do u propose I connect my dual monitors?  doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif

Also, if I wanted to connect my Plasma TV or Projector to the PC, I can always use the DVI coz the Plasma TV n Projector both haf DVI.

HDMI should be a better connect for future,
30" lcd monitor requires dual DVI it is due to single DVI cannot transfer enough signal to mintor.. as bandwidth of DVI is only 3.7 Gbit/s ,HDMI can transfer as fast as 10GBit/s

perhaps in future, you could see a signle HDMI cable to connect to 30" lcd instead of 2 DVI

nowadays, we are heading to HD generation, HDMI should become a standard for high-end card..
at least ati should equip the card with 1 HDMI + 1 DVI, but the card can still produce 2 different image on different monitor .. there is a HDMI-DVI converter for you to use it(some of the geforce cards already have it)

this is what i am thinking biggrin.gif
