QUOTE(JohnLai @ Sep 21 2016, 07:34 PM) .......Overall impression ---> Poor man cheapest G-Sync capable monitor. this makes me want to hold my purchase and wait for new freesync + AMD vega/ new better gsync monitor to come to finally make my choice looooolllll So......180hz OC mode -->backlight bleeding like hell. Black becomes gray. 144Hz is still somehow 'okay' Bad backlight uniformity ---> Upper area of the monitor kinda look like this http://www.overclock.net/t/1597127/acer-pr...0#post_25321888 I propose you to read that forum topic. Yes....green lines of MSI Afterburner issue exists..... Color calibration wise by using Spyder4Pro.... 99% of SRGB. Uniformity --->Exactly as above link. Don't get me started with Spyder4Pro gamma and grayscale analysis result. The more you know.......the worse it becomes.... Edit: LOL, got someone accuses me on not having Spyder4Pro. so i took a look at 27" IPS 165hz both PG279Q and XB271HU coz both have almost same specs. comparing newegg's price, both at around $800.
but in malaysia, XB271HU costs "only" RM3200, meanwhile the PG279Q costs up to RM4000. wtf laaaa. leave me no other choice but to consider only XB271HU |
