I do NOT jump the sequence when accelerating but i do jump the sequence when decelerating, especially from a high speed.

or 1>2>3 (hit 70kph)> 5. if i'm planning anything higher than 100, then i go with the sequencing.
however, when downshifting, i prefer to go in sequence, and controlling both the clutch and brakes, cause i'd rather not have my engine scream
