Legion has just come out and everyone is busy doing new things, so wow token is at low price at the moment. Do you still farm old raids to make money to get as many tokens as possible now?

What was the rate in US?

Who will do old raid? When just questing for 3 days get 500k in legion?

Yes, 1 or 2 shoting those boss is hella fun. I'm always trying to break my last record for each boss.
Collecting appearance at the same time. It doesn't take much time. I workout and do cata raid concurrently, fight the boss on my rest time of each set.

You rush trough content ar? Many ppl doing quest and profession combo get quite a lot of gold leh ...... maybe 500k might be too far fetch, but 5k? Online so many tutorial on gold farming for legion now, quite a few test out quite legit ..... I already bought 6 worth of token since I started back wow 2 months back.

The only reason I still run some old dungeon is because enchant still earn a few k for illusion and some popular enchantment.

Other then that its not earning as fast.

For maximum farming I'd suggest not to spend so much time on old dungeon atm, because when everyone is rich that time token price gonna go up.

I am a slow leveler and I am still in the process of leveling. I am doing all the quests and profession quests that I come across, and I am not seeing gold reward as described. To me, it is more like few thousands gold range. I did not play the AH and did not farm mats extensively to be sold to AH. Is this how you made your gold or is there something else?

Bro, you mentioned just questing then you bring in profession and gold farming for legion

Since when quest gives you so much gold? hacking ah?

zzzz ..... two months back you guys open a forum and talk about ways to earn gold before legion for token farming so many suggested AH ....... how come no play AH now?

I got my 1st token after 1st week with AH.

Sry ... wrong info .... I mean why run old dungeon for gold purpose when you can just quest + AH to earn more then what old dungeon could ever offer. At least for now. To those that doesn't have much time to farm or play.

Even if you don't play with AH and just quest + kill elite seems like more then what old dungeon pay you.

I started Legion with 500g and leveled through all 4 zone minus stormhein and collect about 23k ++ gold. Minus about 18k for the Fel Fire quest and I still have about 6k. The amount should have been higher but since I am enchanter/leatherworker all the mats i collected are used or mailed to an alt. Anyway I am capped on most of my alts so money shouldn't be a problem.

Not sure how you did it but I am definitely not seeing such money via quest drops and normal rare and loot kill. And I am not at level 107. Maybe enchanting mats sell for a lot of gold which I am not. Or Maybe you crafted something and sell it for big pile of gold which I don't have, or maybe you are counting the reward from world quests which I haven't seen. 3 zones down and pretty sure a few thousand gold is all I have made.

i am pretty sure if you did all the quest in all 4 zones, you can get that amount. I got around the same amount by questing and sell grey item .

early phase just be hardworking and do gathering prof to earn heck load of money. In my server, you get 100g (used to ) for PER ORE now selling for 80g which is still a lot. 1 mining mode will give you 3-5 ore. So i recommend you guys just be hardworking to mine or skin anything u see

I can see how you made so much gold with ore price being that high on your server. Not mine though, it is much cheaper on my realm.

I have reached level 110 recently and I think the normal quest reward and loot drop probably net me 10k gold or so. Finished most of key quests in the all 4 zones except the last one which has a couple quest chains left. Now that I have unlocked world quests, and class hall has been upgraded to higher level, I can see how both of these are going to be major gold income contributors in the future.

what server are you in? i dont think materials shouldnt be dropping at that fast rate :/

Like i said i pretty much DE all the greens/blues/epic for personal use, I don't spend on useless stuff. Its all from questing and vendors.

Earning 800k in less than 2 months is a lot of gold. How many enchant mats did you sell?

Beginning of the expansion is a great time to make gold better than old raids.
Everyone gearing up for raids & mythic dungs. So, everything is hyper inflated.

I am not a pro but I happen to level me shaman with herb + alch and accidentally found that gold pot. 1 flask (agility) could fetch 2,500 g average (sometimes even 3K but rare) and 10 pcs of starlight 1.5k g (the price is much lower now, quoting about 3 weeks after launch). Bought like 6 tokens and still have 200k + gold when my start up capital is like less than 10k hehe.

Herbs + alch is quite a good combo because I think not many ppl have it during legion launch as in WOD you have garrison to really screw up the alchemist economy.

Atm, everyone seems to have alch + herbs on their alt now since it was really lucrative with all the PVE contents requiring these pots. So, kind of screw up the market.

Its been quite long time since I farm old raids but I think 25H FL is my fav - could get about 2k - 2.3k ??
Now, flask is selling for about 780g ish (the most recent price check) which means selling 3 flasks could break even an old raid farm. If you have like the Golem mount (cant remember whats it call) or if you are a shaman + Rehgar as follower, you could literally farm herbs without dismount which lowers your downtime considerably and make tons of flasks to sell.

I realize the AH price has been dropping a lot after not logging in for 2 weeks, that was like past 4 weeks ago. Have not been playing quite much since 7.1 drop but with Blood of Sargeras being usable to buy mats, I guess mats price should drop significantly. I have made a lot of gold and got 3 tokens in 1 week by only mining after hit lvl100, that was like 2 weeks after legion launch, now stuff pretty much slows down.

As a casual player that couldn't be able to login every day to monitor AH price, yes i know there is armory and tradeskill master, I just don't have the time, I guess I'm going back to old raid farming method. I saw there is a video talk about Wotlk raid pet drop farming, not sure if that is a good alternative method, but this still occupy plenty of time since wotlk raid isn't small and distance between boss to boss is just far. I love how cata's raid boss is so near to each other.

Token price also back to pre-legion.
