hi guys, any one know where can fix laptop battery? something like replacing the battery cell

I believe the battery case is ultrasonic welded. If you want to replace the cell inside, you need to cut it open and later glue the casing back together. The battery cell normally has no label (I think). So, you will not know if the battery used is good or not. No need for exploding laptop news

I think better just buy new one.

thats why im not gonna replace it myself. trying to find out any third party offering such service

It is not using cell that you can buy commonly out there. The size might be quite different. If you see the power tool battery cell, probably the sizes are like that. There are factory people who work in Bosch smuggled the battery to sell it outside. The market price probably about Rm20~25 and they are selling out at RM9. This is on older laptop battery. I think the new laptop battery is no more using the cell like this. They are more like phone battery, Lithium polymer or Lithium ion.

Probably buying clone replacement is not much different in price comparing to buying battery cell itself

Doest worth the money . I know how to do it my self but I buy a new one . The cost almost same as you change the cell .
