I think to make it simple, the order which GEM5 took was losing a lot of money, and in order to make sure that the order don't lose anymore for the both their merchant and themselves, they just make sure you will cancel in the end or else make sure the watch is not so expensive anymore then only start to deliver to you at least old stock only will be released. No point of waiting but buy direct from store instead since its the same item.
