Off topic but yesterday holiday in taipei and with the typhoon leaving typhoon.. i went for a fruitful half day hunt.

First time for me too. Actually caught total 4 snorlax yesterday. 2 of them are within couple hundred meters of each other.

Damn syiok experience.. after catching one of them, someone just shout that theres another and everyone zerg rush to that second spawn. Kesian that neighborhood.

Another interesting thing is I think the Taipei traffic police also monitor pokemon spawns cos they always arrive on scooter whenever there's a rare spawn

Yeah didnt expect typhoon megi to be so strong also.

Snorlax spawns in xinzhuang, sanchong and luzhou area. Taipei city itself not so interesting.

Keep for decoration lo. No point wasting stardust on it.

Just noticed it today. Normally when i take above ground MRT i could catch a number on mons along the way but today i didnt catch any.

For those far away zubats, ponyta etc... Turn on AR and move until its on the bottom of the screen.. then turn it off again. Most of the time it should come nearer.

But i cant pick up egg from lapras area. According o statistics since radar started, only 2% of lapras that ever spawned in taipei spawned in non-seaside area.

Depends on how often bulb and squirtle spawns in ur area.

But a cost efficient pidgeot w wing attack/hurricane will make a caesar salad out of it in no time.

I have to agree with 1qaz1qaz.

There's so many under 2K CP mons that with the right moveset, can take out a 3K dragonite quickly.

Lapras, slowbro, dewgong, cloyster, blastoise with ice moves.... wigglytuff and clefable.

But to fight snorlax... always have to use a high cost similar CP mon for a slow and painful grind.

My 2 cents is to wait for better growlithes and more candy.

I got trolled dunno how many times... at least 5-6 evolutions before I get one with the best moveset (Firefang/ fireblast).

And powering up pokemons after level 30 gets blardy expensive in terms or stardust.
