Lapras use arcanine not difficult.

I prefer to use exeggutor for vapes.

Rock pokemons in the game now are rock+ground type.

Ice attack are SE against ground and weak against rock so balance off become normal damage.

And rock type sucks.

Grass is weak against ice.

Hence i use arcanine... besides being tanky and it takes not effective damage from lapras while putting out neutral dmg.

A 2.5K Lapras can take down 3x 3K+ D9.

Btw, You don't have to defeat all 10 to drop the gym's prestige

Then get more arcanines lah. Hahahahah..

Doesn't have to be firefang or high IV lah.

Not really... you need to defeat them many times over if you wanna take over a level 10 gym

A maxed Lvl 10 gym has 50,000 prestige points.

Defeating each pokemon in the gym takes off 1,000 prestige point and if you defeat all 10 at one go, you'll take off an additional bonus of 1K pts.

I have serious shortage of stardust nearby park bcame a pikachu nest so every day go grind there lo.

Still far from gold though

Errr... its winter now. Damn lazy to go to lure spot... damn lazy to chase pokemons and Pikachu was very rare previously... like up to this event, I've caught like 20+ only.. even had to buddy to get candies for Raichu.

Now spawn like crazy and nest so catch lah.... as long as I see CP above 200, curve a great throw blue ball.... reckon I can 1 ball it > 80% of the time.

So far caught about 100+ di... and got 2 100% IV ones too.

Yup.. totally not attractive at all. Anyway the event has been such a let down compared with the previous ones. No motivation to play also.
Heading to US in a couple days so hopefully can catch some tauros.
