Anyone can recommend me a reputable accessory shop in PJ to install the bypass for HDMI mirroring?

Ia the 1.5tc more fuel efficient compared to 1.8 as claimed in brochure?
*
As a owner of the 1.5 TC, the fuel consumption is very good. If you drive moderately you can easily get 17Km/L.
In my opinion the 1.5TC is more fuel efficient compared to the 1.8.

Overall I'm very happy with the car.

volume level when not connected to carplay, at level 19 still half the sound level
[attachmentid=7572154]

volume level when connected to carplay, play music from ipod or sportify, max at 11 only
[attachmentid=7572161]

but even I reduced to level 1, the sound still default to the volume at the point when I connected carplay, reduce or increase will give no impact...  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

From what I understand, the volume control somehow went to controlling the volume for navigation and not the radio or phone. You will need to disconnect the phone from HU. Switch to radio first then connect back.

any recommendation for dashcam to record video while driving? preferable around RM200.. xiaoyi is good, but i dun und chinese, lol
*
No problem with that. The Xiaoyi App is in English. You can configure and change all your settings through thanApp.

Currently I'm using it and am generally happy with it. However I'm not using the ADAS function. Don't find it too accurate.

And how do u run your cable to the power outlet? got video or photo to share?
*
Actually it's quite easy. I remember that I bought it from 11 street and it came with a tool to help in removing the trim to place the wires. It's better to use this tool than your fingers.

Here's the link:

Power I took from the cigarette lighter. The cable plugs to a USB port.

guys i got my car from delivery its already full tank last 2 week after i drive my fuel nearly finish and i only got 300KM plus? its that normal? only drive at city...

because see facebook some people say will reach near 500 or 450+++

Fuel consumption depends on the environment you are and also the way you drive. If you are stuck in a standstill traffic and your engine is running, you are burning fuel and not registering any mileage. Your fuel consumption will be bad. Unless you switch off your engine instead of letting it idle.

So if you are constantly in a bad traffic jam, how do you expect good fuel consumption? Of course with a hybrid car, the engine is off so you do not burn fuel while in the traffic. Or you get a car with idle stop.

Your best gauge would be normal driving conditions and highway. You can then gauge your fuel consumption better.

Try going to Settings, System, Sound/Beep, Verbal Reminder. I might be wrong though and only passenger seatbelt is the one with verbal reminders. I always fasten my seatbelt before turning on the car icon_rolleyes.gif

We have no Subw settings coz we got no Subwoofer tongue.gif

tayman congrats! which model is your car?

--Update--

I risked my life driving to work without wearing my seatbelt (for a short while) earlier this morning just to confirm this tongue.gif Yes it does say "Please fasten driver seatbelt" but only once - together with the first seatbelt reminder "ding" after driving off.

I think it is tied to the Guidance Volume too, so turn it up slightly if you're not noticing it.

I don't see this option on my Civic TC. Is yours the TCP?

Using Spotify on Apple Carplay but sometimes I can't increase or decrease the volume of it on the steering wheel panel and also touch screen panel. It shows the volume level going up and down but the sound level is still the same. Any idea why?
*
The volume somehow goes to the navigation volume. If you look carefully the volume is between 0-11. My car is 1.5 TC and have this problem too. Noticed that this usually happens if you use Car Play with Waze on. Somehow the HU goes to the navigation volume although it does. It have Navigation.

Only workaround is to unplug and reconnect iPhone. It should be ok again. If this happens, switching off and turning on the iPhone again usually solves the problem.

For me if I don't turn on Waze while on CarPlay, I won't get this problem.
