I tink RV .. de 1.8 will hold better.. l mean as older models all show, ppl prefer the lowest model in the same range more.. USED anyway..

I think lowest model most preferred since the road tax is cheaper..eg Accord 2.0 vs Accord 2.4, 2.0 mostly have better RV..for X Civic, i think 1.5T will have better RV than 1.8 wink.gif

Some advice based on experience, rattles will come one after another. The best way to fix it is by DIYing urself. Be patient, do it slowly. Nobody knows where the rattles come from except urself & other fellow Civic X owners who faces same problem.

Dont simply send ur car for soundproofing/noiseproofing as this tackles different problems..eg; wind or tyre noise, engine or cvt drone..not the rattlesnake wink.gif

Second u on this bro..
The rattling noise sometimes there and sometimes gone.. I guess maybe due to our hot weather as i noticed my ride's rattles more especially after i parked under hot sun for few hours..

Anyhow, still finding ways to solve it. Sent to SC, told me they had checked it but no rattling sound. Half day after i collect my car then the annoying sound is back.  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

i took me 3 years to find & solve the rattlesnakes problem on my current ride smile.gif
at early stage of ownership, u feel wanna hate the car. time goes on, problem solved then u will love her more. believe me wink.gif

I agree to this.. Usually SC would take everything apart and check for nosie which i hate it a lot..

the snap joint plastic on cars nowadays is very fragile & soft. u need correct tools to pry out or dismantle the plastic trims.

not a flat head screw driver all the times sweat.gif

To save on budget, just change the wiper refill..maybe RM100 for a pair of PIAA wiper refill
