Image above is the audio setting of my car while click on the FAD-BAL tab, but image below is the audio setting I got from a youtube video which they have SUBW setting. So my curious is everyone here only having the FAD and BAL setting?

Anyone know how to set auto headlight do not AUTO, and can be manually turn on & off?

QUOTE(berann @ Nov 9 2016, 10:19 AM)
Can only manually on or set auto. Cannot manually off. So no choice have to set Auto all the time.
Mine the same. sometime that kind of sound especially hot day. I just ignore..not an issue  biggrin.gif

I don't think we can set the auto headlight to manual, but you can turn it off by turn down your lightning switch from auto to off position then the DRL and headlight will turn off. another way is when your small beam / light is turn on automatically, switch the light switch to small beam position (turn up one level) then the small beam will be turn off and the DRL remain, BUT even though you can see the light indicator is on at your instrument cluster, but your small beam / light is off only DRL is on.

QUOTE(crayzee @ Nov 10 2016, 11:32 AM)
I went to honda showroom in Penang to test drive recently. SA was friendly and allow me to drive TCP for about 20minutes in multiple driving condition (Hill, curves, straight road to hit 100kmh) and then let my wife to try as well (she complained it's too huge for her)

The drive was mostly ok but there are few things that put me off in the car.
1) Minor cvt jerk if you slow down and decide to accelerate again
2) Test drive unit has minor buzzing on the dash  bangwall.gif
3) Showroom car have some poor welding job (it looks like this person in pakistan observed the same problem in this image https://propakistani.pk/wp-content/uploads/...5-1024x768.jpg)
4) Ultrasonic sensor housing plastic loose (rattling)
5) All 4 doors are too tight, hard to open

Other than that, what i like:
1) Damped glovebox!, even US counterpart doesn't have this feature lol
2) Dashboard design quite nice and futuristic
3) Ride and handling is not bad, it's a balanced setup (not too stiff and not too soft)
4) Turbo powerrrr (although limited by the cvt experience but the cvt is quite responsive)
5) Engine noise for the turbo is alright for me
6) The ride is low, feels like driving a sports car.

Still indecisive  bangwall.gif

My glovebox not damped anymore, now i open it just straight ahead drop down and bam. I just keep the honda instruction nooklet and service book inside. Anyone know how to solve it?

It's been awhile since last post here.

Just got my car from SC, on my way to office some of the indicators (ESC, Steering, ABS) lights up and I know smtg wrong so I continue drive until office parking. After that tried to re-start again, but couldn't. Called my SA said he is coming now.
Just back from holiday and this happens  puke.gif

Which brand are you using for the pedal lock? So just remove the y socket and use back the original cable and plug back into the brake to solve the problem or plug back to the y socket?

Clocked 1.2k KM with my Michelin PS4, clocked 500km with my MC5 previously then trade in. Using nitrogen gas.

Road Noise
Ok for me, but i feel only slight quiet compare to MC5. Hope it wont become louder like PS3 when the treads getting lesser.

Comfort
PS4 is more comfortable than MC5.

Dry Grip
PS4
Daily Drive - Great grip on dry road,i feel only slight improvement compare to MC5
Highway Drive - Below 180km/h still grippy, above 180km/h feel abit floating. While making slight cornering on highway with 180km/h car abit float.v
*Not sure is my wheel problem or what confused.gif

MC5
Maximum speed i tried only 120km/h as i just got my car that time. But not much different on between daily drive on dry road situation compare to PS4. PS4 got better grip.

Wet Grip
PS4
Daily drive - no sense of steering moving while driving at raining situation or drive through stagnent of water with normal speed approx 60km/h
Highway drive - Cruise at 150km/h on rainny situation still the same as daily drive. Great aquaplaning and grippy.

MC5
Daily drive - The same as PS4
Highway drive - Cruise at 120km/h can feel my steering is moving while drive through stagnent of water. Wet grip is also abit loose.

Sorry abit long and messy, first time doing review

Normally you put either solar film on all windows (front, rear, 4 sides), or you install solar film on the front & rear windows, and security film on all 4 sides. Security film just means that it is thicker and higher tensile strength than normal solar films.
Depends. If it's a small chip, I don't even bother. If it's shorter than 3cm, you can go to glass specialists such as Dr. Cermin as they have solutions to stop it from getting bigger/longer. If it's longer than 3cm, you're advised to get it replaced soon. Get insurance for the front windscreen next time.
Congrats! Will add you in rclxms.gif great deal too bro!
I park my car inside my house compound, in a sheltered parking area. The alarm went off maybe once or twice - and that was because there were lightning strikes in my housing area (really loud thunder) - but I guess this is normal as my old Honda cars also exhibit this issue. It would sound the alarm only for a short while.
I drove around 900km on the new Michelin PS4, and around 7,400km on the old Continental MC5. Agreed with your review. PS4 is worth to upgrade for our car.

- I am more confident to drive at 207km/h on the PS4.
- Wet performance is head and shoulders above the MC5 - I could drive at 150-160km/h in heavy rain at the highway without losing any steering feedback. Something that I do not feel on the MC5 above 130km/h when running through puddles of water.
- Tyre rolling noise - can't even hear the PS4 on properly tarred roads on the highway at 120km/h. I purposely turned off my radio to listen - my wife also concurs.

Anyway, I don't feel floaty at all on the PS4. Most probably you put in an incorrect amount of air pressure (too much?).
*
I fill 32psi for all of my tyres, maybe i should follow the instruction set front 35psi and rear 33psi to avoid the floating feel while cruising at highspeed

Thank you for the review.
Definitely will change to ps4. but now wallet a bit dry.
Maybe wait until mc5 wear out first only change.
MC5 also not bad mah, on par with primacy 3 st iinm.
Since road in kota kinablau, mostly wont go over 80-90kmph, MC5 is really good enough.

However, I tried to do big corner at 130-140kph, the tyre looses its grip, have to slow down till 100 only acceptable.
  thanks for the review
32psi is ngam ngam, a bit soft to me.
I just 34 psi all the way.
Bro u from kota kinabalu also ?
*
During dry situation MC5 is good enough, MC5 weakness appears during wet road situation. But if just a daily drive user in town seldom speed up to 160km/h and mostly speed on 110-120km/h MC5 is more than enough to support for both wet and dry situation. PS4 Just worth to upgrade for spirited driver laugh.gif not to say the best for street race but more than enough for street race *never try to race on street biggrin.gif

Tried before 32 33 34 35 psi on my previous car tyre Michelin XM2 i just feel the same on handling but not using nitrogen gas. The technician in tyre shop fill 32psi for me during i change my tyre so maybe will maintain for few month then only go to refill and see the difference

Wow. Finally got the time to make comparison..

As some know that previously, I drove a 2014 Mazda 3 Skyactiv CBU and sold it 3 weeks ago to get a Honda Civic 1.5TCP.

You start in this thread by asking a very negative question, of course you'll get cold response

Start asking nice question like how's your ride, etc. you'll get favorable response then slowly navigate your way asking those negative doubts about this car

Overall this has been one hell of a car for me. No mod so far, only tint and done the coating

My family complaint I drive very fast with this car
*
Because it equip with turbo, without fun if drive slow biggrin.gif but drive safe

My oil life dropping everyday because always drive fast on highway laugh.gif

Hello all, my car is going to be 1000km. May I ask the first service 1000km is free? I know the workmanship is free only. Do I still need to pay for the engine oil and etc? Thanks in advance.
*
First service is completly free, no oil change just inspection. Usually done within an hour. You can request for oil change if you want.
