Anyone knows if screen cracked, would my phone still be eligible for exchange?
*

now that i have packed the note 7, ready for the replacement by the end of the month, and currently using the mate 8, suddenly i kinda miss the secure folder featured in note 7, where i can use two whatsapp accounts at the same time...
*
Go for GBWhatsApp.. way better than in N7 default feature...

Not sure and their customer service is off for the day. Phone dropped at a very short distance and the screen cracked.

I didn't hear..
The phone manufacturer should do more marketing / promo to make some awareness about their products..
*
LOL...very true also... Weak marketing ... You walk at LRT stations...many Sammy ads... In TV also... Theater... Sammy all over conquered.. Sony? Ermm..,

Thinking about that, Sammy ads for N7 later will be vanderlised by spray paint... "N7... The Next Military Weapon"

Just got call from Digi.

They will dispatch courier service as per preorder address to deliver us new note 7 and handover existing unit upon delivery.

Like the way Digi handle this case as we no need so hassle to go out
*
Very professional...Double Thumbs up... Dont forget to turn off the device yaa... Later itu dispatch boy ride motorcycles in the middle of the heat, park at Petrol Station to pee and seconds later...kaboommm... The Next Military Weapon is invented ...

Stumble upon someone said FEDEX is not delivering the phones. Imagine if other couriers are not delivering too. Then how the factory delivery the phones to Malaysia? Or I missed out something.
*
All will be handled by professional military officers...j/k... If FEDEX prohibited, use other courier service lohhh... MAS prohibited, take AirAsia lohhh... Shell gas station prohibited, go to Petronas lohhh..

Just turn off the device...

Of course professional.

Hows your xiaomi? Thinking of getting xiaomi now. Cheap and good.
*
Errr... Sorry but this is Sammy's camp... Later kena warning....j/k... My Xiaomis are in order as usual... Less than RM400 phones to service my daily needs is sufficient...

N5 is my current daily driver... Xiaomis are for streaming only...auto-announce time every 15 minutes and other wonderful purposes...

QUOTE(Mini Nici @ Sep 10 2016, 09:19 PM)
IMHO, Samsung really handles the recall well for simple case. For more complex situation like mine they screw up big time. I actually travel overseas for long term project. Samsung called me for recall and I informed them my situation. They said they could escalate to the Samsung here and I could return here which I'm really impressed. But they wanted me to carry in the full box set. Instantly my mood was down to the drain. Who will travel with box set around the world. At the end still need to fly 8 hrs including transit time back to KL. This is my first Samsung and last I guess.
*
Try to appeal.... else, who has the full package, ask to courier to you lorrr... FEDEX cannot... use Pos Malaysia/International loh.... LOL...

Yeah. that was last year's September article. Did Sony pull back water resistant certification? Correct me if I'm wrong, as far as I concern, the recent announced Xperia XZ still have IP68 cert. What did I miss?

I just wonder,

Will us able to fly again when we get the replacement unit? Since a lot of aircraft companies have banned us.1515 in the making lol.

Dont wanna ruin my journey next month lol.
(NO, dont ask to leave my phone at home).
*
Once all these recall/banns/official replacement news settled, the flight crews will take your phone, turn it off and return it back to you before leaving the aircraft.... chaotic situation during returning the device back to you...expect this to happen.... Having said that, next Note8 design will be a drastic change compared to Note7 in terms of materials/colour/appearance....

You can alter the IMEI so that they can't disable the device after 30 Sept...

They can check knox tripped by the device right? How is IMEI have to do with anything? hmm.gif

Yes. But my "dirty" message is for those who reluctant (aka dare devils) to return the device... of course the warranty also bye-bye...

It's like black market device...the risk is all yours...u can't sue Sammy for any troubles...

It's their last resort if they can't collect back all 2.5Millions N7 by 29th Sept...(my hypothesis...). It's like one-magic-button to solve all "missing" defective N7s....pretty sure u hv seen this tactic is box-office movies...something like in the movie ...Kingsman: The Secret Service..
