QUOTE(johnm @ Oct 7 2016, 11:37 AM) that's good advice and I second that. All telcos must have got together and pulled this 'mafia' stunt! 24 months! dont get what u mean...and getting from the shops mentioned - another PIA as any defect immediately it's a refurbished return best to buy Apple from online store if purchase from Apple Online Store and if any defective, we can get 1 to 1 new exchange? because Malaysia dont have physical Apple Store (all shops out there are authorize retailer) so how to do the 1 to 1 new exchange? if purchase from Apple Online Store, the phone will deliver to my house KL next day? hand really too itchy d, can't wait for it any more.. haha |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Oct 7 2016, 11:41 AM) QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ Oct 7 2016, 11:46 AM) Usually i take a look at Celcom/Digi/Maxis/Umobile pre-order, you get a good gauge. This year, only can see Maxis. iPhone 7, all available, except for Jet black 128gb and 256GB is out. iPhone 7 plus, all available except for Jet black and black 128GB, limited on 256GB. Pretty much matching the trends of other countries that launched earlier. Those physical stores (machines, macstudio etc), should have similar percentage of stocks, so have to be early. Demand is much lower, but I think it's because the design didn't change and everyone holding back for next year which is the 10th anniversary for iPhone and Apple expected to do a drastic change. |

I bet that on October 14, due to the reasons that Glithoniel said, we won't see the iPhone 7 flying off the shelves unlike the previous models (unless if you're a user of, say, the iPhone 4 or 5, which means the 7 is definitely a BIG jump for you)... I may be wrong though!

Just called gemfive. The guy said there are two info now...
1) Apple launch is 14 of October. They are trying to get stocks in to ship to pre-orders 2) the eta by gemfive is end of October so all pre order are still expected to receive by end of October unless point 1) above materializes. So conclusion is... Chill and wait. |

(although there is rumor saying next year is ip8 due to iphone 10 year aniversary, but i dont think Apple like to play this type of anniversary product thingy). moreover, with the maxis website print-screen on early early morning posted by forumer here, showing that 41k people queue at maxis website for ip7 pre-order.. that is crazy man... |

I upgrade every year so 24 months contract is a no-no for me. I was number 8 in queue yesterday the minute PO opened with Maxis but I went in, saw 24 months, close browser lol Ended up preordering from somewhere else outright purchase. |

QUOTE(loon1983 @ Oct 7 2016, 12:19 PM) If budget's not an issue, go for the 7 Plus... Mainly because of the dual-lens camera, faster processor, and hopefully more efficient battery power! http://www.valuewalk.com/2016/10/iphone-7-...-iphone-6-plus/ |
