just wondering after they finish upgrade how's the line hmm.gif
U Mobile coverage is sucks laugh.gif
and based on current 6s plan for digi and celcom, digi seems slightly cheaper biggrin.gif
no point for me having outright as I buy outright I also paying monthly bill, why don't I sacrifice myself tied to telco for 2 years laugh.gif
yes but pre-order should start at 12am 14th October
bear in mind you need to wait for shipping
*
but how come some of my friends keep on saying umobile good and affordable. coverage not bad. perhaps depends on area also. same as other telco as i experience bad coverage in my house and shopping mall even i use maxis, celcom and digi sweat.gif

QUOTE(zeroox @ Sep 30 2016, 04:55 PM)
ok thanks....im not a high usage so for me, those telco package really not worth for me and now im actually subscribing the maxis RM49 sub-line and it's sufficient for me.
if take the package and monthly fees have to pay extra at least RM50, for 2 years contract will be RM1200, and i guess the phone discount wont be more than that.
just my own thought
*
usually telco plan, you have to sign up for higher plan in order to get more discount. that's normal as telco also need to earn $$ haha. telco plan already calculate and implement properly before release out.. benefits to them only

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 30 2016, 05:03 PM)
Celcom pre-order start @ 7 October too  smile.gif
*
yeah i know. guess most telco will be on the same day

True, each individual will have own usage and expenses. In your case if <XXX> package from <YYY> telco suits you, then check if any suitable or comparable iPhone telco package that is close to your needs. If yes, evaluate if take package. Else better just buy the phone separately at RRP cost.

In my case, I can claim telco bills due to work purpose. Therefore, I get the highest possible plan for me. My iPhone 6Plus (not S), was bought for around RM1.9k two years ago with package. I think I can sell it for similiar price next month. Therefore, in a way, I'm using the phone for "free".

you can claim for work purpose. i wish i have such benefit too cool2.gif

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Oct 3 2016, 09:42 PM)
I read that we need to install iTunes software on our laptop, so I downloaded iTunes 12.5.1 here:

https://support.apple.com/en_US/downloads/itunes

However, it states that it cannot be run on my laptop. Other version seems to be for iOS9 while our ip7 is using iOS10. Any idea why?
*
perhaps your pc not support? actually if you seldom sync or save your stuffs in pc it's not necessary to download also cause you have icloud or other backup software that can backup your stuffs.

It states my pc version is not compatible. I am using Win 8.1 already...

We need the software to transfer files between laptop and our phone, right? Or can we transfer just using windows explorer like android?
*
if you need to transfer files to your phone, you need itunes lor. you can just copy out pictures or videos directly using window explorer to your pc only but not others.

Anyone of you are just like me and went for the Gold iPhone 7? I preferred black actually but just because of the color, I had to pay more and didn't want to do that - so I went for the model with the same color as my previous iPhone 6! laugh.gif

But enough of seeing gold color for now, which is why I bought this Spigen Rugged Armor casing - it's black and at least I have something similar to the original iPhone 7 color that I liked... rclxms.gif
*
why have to pay more? you pay more for the gb and not the color hmm.gif

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Oct 5 2016, 03:05 PM)
yup, in terms of hardware, any android flagship totally outperform iPhone
but do note that Android got a lot flagship, such as Google, HTC, Samsung, Sony, etc ...
yet, once release new firmware, only Google devices will get on the spot, other brand need to wait for few months
as somebody said just now, Android official software support is 2 year, meanwhile iOS at least 3 years
but IMO Google this time really do a good move, at least they build a phone inside and outside by them (actually is HTC help them) laugh.gif
and bear in mind Android phone price will drop due to too many competitors, unlike iPhone

anyway, both Android and iOS have their pros and cons, I love the camera on Google Pixel, but I think iPhone 7 camera is more than enough for me
but iPhone 7 come with water and dust resistant icon_idea.gif
as for unlimited cloud storage in order to backup photo and video, yea this is an attracting point to those who love to take photo and video, hope Apple will follow as well which give user more iCloud storage
*
yeah lo.. i think ip7 camera is enough for me. nevertheless phone camera can't be better than digital camera also. if one need to capture really nice pictures, i rather take a camera to shoot

Its already almost 6pm and I'm surprised that no telco released their plan details knowing that tomorrow midnight is already the pre-order.

Each of them waiting for each other to release the details first?
*
maxis cs in fb mentioned the plan will be release during the pre order. that is on 7th. doh.gif i can't imagine if plan release during that time. perhaps they don't want consumer to calculate and compare from other telco. consumers by that time quickly grab the pre order without thinking much.. strategy brows.gif

Would anyone really choose a telco to sign a plan based solely on iPhone prices? biggrin.gif
*
probably those desperate to get their desire color. or some impulsive buying. during that time telco server sure lag like hell.. those can't manage to get, sure quickly grab one tongue.gif saw some bought the colors that they dislike and later in wanna trade with others also got.. nothing is impossible in bolehland laugh.gif
