Hi guys,

I'll be travelling to Sabah on 16 Feb 2019, arriving at 11pm late night, i booked cititel express sabah. Is it easy to get a grab car at that hour??

Also i will be driving up to Kudat and stay 1 night. May i know any recommendations along the road? I only know tip of borneo. Is there anything to explore in kudat town?

Thanks.
*
yes, i've tried 4AM also got grab...just the price will be different

at kudat, other than tip of borneo...there is no more attractions
only left is food

May i know what food is recommended in kudat? I'll be staying here though http://tampatdoaman.com.my/how-to-get-tamp...n-tip-of-borneo

Btw, for pulau tiga survival island, i opted for rm230 per pax day trip. I'll need to self drive to jesselton point for meet up. Is there any other good tour recommend?

Need your advise. The car rental company does not allow all the way to sandakan due to bad road condition. Is it worth the effort to drop sandakan from my list?

Any recommendations to replace sandakan?

no replacement to sandakan and i recommend u to fly to sandakan instead
driving from kk to sandakan isn't like driving in highway in WM
it requires full attention and it will KO your body when you're there, because i've done it before

actually u shouldn't even tell them where you're going because there shouldn't be any restriction anyway, they wouldn't even know where u went
unless they calculate the mileage you've travelled

an alternative would be tenom but it's not a city like sandakan, it's a quiet town

If you're planning to go to Orang utan sanctuary, watch for the time schedule as they barred entry quite early in the afternoon.

2 shops that sell authentic tuaran mee
1. the shop next to 7-11
2. lok kyun restaurant that is in front of the town's library(the creator)

u dont go kk eat tuaran mee, no one sell authentic tuaran mee there...not even the noodles are authentic(factory made)
the tuaran mee u ate in tuaran are freshly hand made everyday and only circulate among tuaran restaurant only
authentic tuaran mee, the topping will never be char siew/chun kien...it's always pork with gravy(炸肉)
