The only way to lose a ship "forever" is if you sell it. You start off with T1 ships which are given to you for free. To get the next tier ship, you need to earn XP by playing. As for the number of ships you can have at any one time, it is limited by the number of port slots you have available. You can of course increase the port slots by buying more using Doubloon or as some will call it, gold. You can get Doubloons by getting and opening containers, which you again obtain by playing and earning XP. Everyday, you can get up to 3 containers.
Yeah, same here, Good Start, Aiming? Too much effort and An epic journey. Still need to torp a CV to get Race to the bottom. The others, just need to play, Feeling good (use up to 100 signal flags), Break the bank (earn 2.017 mil credits) and Tin Can (open 17 containers).

any advice to do better in mahan? got mine y'day although just upgrade range only but i macam a idiot with it barely do anything worthy

i play too passive also, i smoke my teammate help them spot all that but not doing much..slowly now i will learn how to play this ship well

I love my Benson too. Although Fletcher already in port, have been reluctant to move my Benson's Captain into her.

The main 2 fears when playing DD at higher tiers are ships with radar and other DD captains who can shoot better than you.
