QUOTE(drewin @ Jun 28 2017, 12:34 PM) so sexyyyyyyyy... let us know more about your daily drive experience.... still waiting for mine... oh godddd Bought for the wife but i'll probably be the one driving during long distance travel, stay tune QUOTE(funguss @ Jun 28 2017, 12:40 PM) For the size of the wipers, I reckon all you need to do is to measure the length of the 2 rubber blades with a measuring tape and see if PIAA has the exact length. If not, you may have to get slightly longer ones and cut it ? I've always been a pocket rocket lover hence the Polo GTI, still find it a lil bit awkward driving a SUV lol...Space wise it's a no brainer, definitely a huge upgrade for the weekend travel with family. From PIAA's chart, its 24 & 21 inches. The Tiguan hides it's size quite well - it seems smaller than it really is by itself. Park it next to another comparable vehicle and it's actually quite big. People are usually surprised how spacious it is but doesn't seem so from outside. |

Some words from my SA, the factory only produces 150 units per month, which might explained the delay and speed. For me I wouldn't want to rush the workers, and continental cars are known for better QC so taking longer to build one compare to JDM. just my 2cents.

QUOTE(tripletree @ Jul 7 2017, 09:28 PM) hey guys , just got my CL a week ago, pretty awesome ride , besides having some balancing issue which the car was shaky when i hit >120km/h , but problem resolved after sending back to service center. Ticking is perfectly normal, had it on my polo gti as well from day 1My only problem is with the ticking sound when u switched off the engine, you can hear it ticking from the outside and will tick off slowly. SA told me it's normal for all new VW models as they are using single fan as compared to normal 2 fans. anyone else has the same problem ? a lil unusual with that ticking sound coming from a conti car http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/forums/f12...gine-18147.html |

Hi all new owners, did you noticed the battery fit much smaller than the given space? (take a look at the base plate that holds the battery you'll get what i mean) I hope it's not because of cost cutting reason.

For android users just go to any mirror site to get the apk install to your phone, it should work flawlessly.

Had my 1st long distance travel to East Coast over the weekend, i can say the MQB platform is simply amazing, it gave me so much confident in cornering even compare to my daily ride polo gti, which smaller in size and supposed to be more agile. Good job this round VW!
p/s: Since Tiguan is not a speed monster, my recommendation is to leisurely cruise arn 140kmph. Occasionally you might need to give way to the likes of Civic This post has been edited by eddychstu: Aug 8 2017, 04:12 PM |

QUOTE(geniuz @ Aug 14 2017, 10:20 PM) Not really a fair comparision, new X1 is easily 50k more expensive than the new Tiguan. Puting driving dynamics aside a bmw is definitely more premium and given that's a 2.0 TC RWD, it's a different driving experience all together. |

QUOTE(anythin @ Aug 23 2017, 07:21 PM) Found ads in mudah selling test drive car for 135k for comfortline..Do u guys think the price is worth it? not really a good deal, they were giving out 7k discount back then which means it's just a few grand cheaper for a used and heavily tested car. Better go for new one and ask for discount. |

Sponsored it might be but which part you find it not true? Honesty should be part of the quality for a blogger what's more a famous one like Tim Tiah. Just my 2 cents

Fair enough, at least as a real owner I can testify the reviews have been truthful, as for how others think, it's beyond our control

Been driving since 2017, no major issue only occasionally sound from undercarriage but can be tighten during car service. Those who've been complaining about wind noise obviously have not driven a big car.

QUOTE(eugene88 @ Sep 1 2018, 07:43 PM) QUOTE(DrPitchard @ Nov 1 2019, 03:39 PM) Same here actually. Looking at one right one, not sure if I should pull the trigger on this, with a drive which is more fun and gets my heart pumping, or a safe and sound option in the CX-5. Hmphhhh it was rather a clear choice for me, go with the design you like most coz you gonna look at it day in/out, and i'm not the kind who cares about the 2nd hand value. |
