Some said body roll of Tiguan is quite mininal and drive like a sedan, so am just trying to understand if that's true.

definitely not. Its an offroader with focus on offroading, so the tiguan handles more like a 4x4 offroader and worse than a normal road car on the road.

Maintenance bill will shock you too.

Tiguan? An "offroader with focus on offroading"? Are you out of your mind?

My mistake, looks like i forgot about the toureg which is the offroader and terrible onroad. Seems like the tiguan is the tamer version. From the looks of it, its meant for more of some towing and focus on long road trips and not offroading. However its still a german brand and they do cost high on maintenance.

Well these group of people just want a reliable car which gets them from point A - B, without depreciating too much so 8 years down the road they can still sell off the car and use that for down payment for their new ride. It's like a bonus.

I don't see any wrong in following that path way to be honest.

take off the VW badge, perhaps stick great wall or cherry on it, would you buy it? if the answer is no then you're buying the badge, not the car, which explains their point. many have had it with bad brands, brands that are unreliable and brands that have terrible service when something goes wrong. Thats why japanese brands and ford thrive in germany, despite the most recognisable car brands in the same country, people have had it with the constant mechanical problems and bad customer service that they overcome their arrogance to buy local or that their engineering is superior, and opt instead for a japanese car or ford. even the korean brands are gaining heart there too.

I can put it to you another way. How about i make a special ferrari, it has a v16 engine, is a hybrid with focus on performance, and make it one of the best to drive with only 1 caveat, you cant drive it on the road, or that it wont drive on the road. Yes this exists and only a select people are allowed to buy it, and you have to call ferrari whenever you want to drive it on the track. You cant bring it home with you or just go to work with it. This is essentially the attitude of many people who buy german cars, they look past the bs and just want to own it no matter how bad it is. Just test driving wont do you justice, you gotta know what you are buying. Just like how many people think honda build quality is good and recommend it over toyota when it really isnt.

even if flush all fluids and change all filters also wont cost 5k

sounds like you dont even know german cars. 60k service does more than just replacing fluids and filters. Some internal parts are changed too. The germans time every part in servicing schedule, because they're designed to break after that.

Maintenance cost is published at vw site.
Servicing interval is 15k or 1 year.

Thats 4-5k. This guy is ignorant as hell.

4-5k is the cumulative cost of 4 time servicing within the entire 60k km.  as i said , its impossible for the 60k interval service to cost 5k. and i certainly dont see any internal parts changed at 60k interval. that 60k service costs 3.4k according to that picture.

you are either ignorant as hell, or telling lies. which is it ?

ask the engineer/mechanics that work on it. Some actually do youtube and have all sorts of information you can find out.

bullshit. dont tell lies here. no internal parts require to be change at 60k interval. and the 60k service certainly does not cost 5k. the evidence is already in your face as proven by ck77. why you still insist on lying ?
*
i wasnt? the post before that quoted 5k could be for an older model. Infact why not quote the guy and ask what items was serviced during the 65k service. Im not going to do your work for you.
