haha checked it out today. decided to hold out till test drive available early-march before even thinking about it.

as with all vw, 7k discount likely can happen again soon. now is till tmr only, must place booking fee.

my question is how has the MK7 golf 1.4 TSI been on reliability given it is not twin charge? also it looks like it will be really underpowered given the 1.5+ton weight?

My Mk7 1.4 TSI with ACT just reached 76000 km, had the 3rd oil change last week. No issues so far (can't speak for the gearbox as mine is manual).

HL depending on colour, can get immediately. if want red, december. RM3.5k off can be done.

but at that price, i could get a 2015/16 Q5 2.0T, a tune and it'll be near 300hp.

decisions decisions...

can tune up to 600hp

how about supra? can hit >1000hp

come on we're comparing mid sized suvs, not sports cars. both are RM170k range and german. i like the tiguan's gadgets but cannot imagine myself on highway with the 1.4 engine, thus Q5 could be a good alternative despite being an old design with its 2.0. it is 1-2 years old and still has 2-3 years warranty left, and it uses a proven autobox rather than a dct.

my swedish car has 300+hp, so a downgrade to 150hp with heavier curb weight may be too drastic when switching to a family SUV.

if you cannot even discuss on a forum, i sure hope you do better in real life. doh.gif
